Is there hope?

Feeling a little hopeless about our ttc journey today. Hoping to have my second FET in a couple of weeks but after 4 chemicals and 2 ectopics am worried. So far standard NHS testing all came back fine and in April I had. a hysteroscopy /laparoscopy which all was fine (well there was a bit of endo which they removed but that was it). Had a scratch done too.

Trying one more transfer before looking into NK cell/other immune tests. Think my consultant thinks that maybe removing the bit of endo and the scratch it could help but I can’t help feeling like we haven’t found the ‘problem’ yet (I reckon it’s immune related). Surely 4 chemicals can’t be all ‘bad luck’!!

Has anyone here had a few miscarriages then removing a bit of endo, getting a scratch and/or having a hysteroscopy ended up in a full term pregnancy?

I don’t mind trying a FET one more time before testing privately (am lucky to have that as an option!!) but it just feels like it’s never going to happen :(

Sorry, it’s a pity party for one today lol.

You could try the nk testing at coventry (prof brosens) - he researches recurring miscarriages and recurring implantation failure. I was in the latter camp and after the tests he prescribed sitagliptin which is proven for recurring miscarriages but he is trialling it implantation failure.

Thanks for this, I might try him, it's just super far away from where I live so will be tricky!!

Hi Esb. Hopefully as your specialist says, removing the bit of endometriosis might just allow your lining to build up evenly. Eat some pineapple core too, as it can help with blood flow and help to prevent clotting, bit like soluble aspirin. Good luck. Diane-Partner

Thanks Diane, I hope so. Going to ask the clinic about trying aspirin anyways as I never see pineapple core's anywhere!

Hi. Yes do that. It’s the strips /slices of pineapple you can buy. Diane

As in the ones in the supermarket? I always just assume they are the fleshy bit of the pineapple not the core!
