Hi all, hope everyone is doing well, or as well as they can be.
I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with having a double embryo transfer of different quality embryos, I’m unsure of the technical grading but one scored an 8/10 and the other scored 1/10. Would this be advised not to be transferred together or has anyone had success from having them transferred together? I do qualify for a double transfer and have had them in the past due to amount of failed transfers.
I’ve read conflicting things and also been given conflicting advice from the clinic.
Thanks in advance if anyone has any input 🤗

we’ve had a few double transfers of differing grades like this (mainly as the 2nd one wasn’t good enough to freeze so it was a choice of put it back or discard it) no success from it but did have implantation all 3 times I’ve had double transfers but all chemicals/miscarriages. My single transfers have all been BFNs except my little boy!
I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer it’s very personal to you and the situation. but the fact that one is lower grade will lower your chance of multiples too whilst slightly increases your chances of implantation so I’d probably go for it if it were me. Lots of luck xx
Hi Booda. One for your embryologist I think, as he/she has watched your embryos grow and can discuss this and advise on transfer. Many lower graded embryos can catch up once transferred. All the best with your decision. Diane
