Recovering from a lobectomy
In Feb 2019 I had a lower lobe
lobectomy
plus a resection of the middle lobe (robotic) and all lymph nodes were clean but the tumor was now 7 centimeters when removed. I was now classified as Stage 2 B adeno carcinoma and because of the size of the tumor preventative chemo should be taken.

Left Side Toxic Adenoma - awaiting left lobectomy
Hello all, I have the above which causes hyperthyroidism - I am on 15 mg of carbimazole each day which completely keeps me stable. The goiter has not grown at all from when I discovered it and it is benign. It causes me no discomfort with swallowing or breathing and Im quite happy on the carbimazole

Silent Reflux after lung surgery?
Almost 9 weeks after my
lobectomy
I have noisy breathing in my oesophagus, a chronic cough, hoarseness in varying degrees, and post nasal drip particularly at night, and I burp quite often. All symptoms of silent reflux that I never had before my surgery.

Getting COPD diagnosed
Had lower
lobectomy
in 1965 successful operation. Each winter breathing problems develop. For last 2 years have been using prescribed Anoro Elipta inhaler once a day (instead of Ventolin and brown inhaler) and this seems to help loosen mucus but my voice is croakey.

Feeling Sick
I am a colorectal cancer patient with a loop colostomy on the transverse colon. My main colectomy surgery hasn't happened, yet. When I normally sit on the toilet to pass mucus I get nauseous.

What next?
I underwent a
lobectomy
of my upper right lobe. In July 2017 I ended up in intensive care with a massive PE. I just had a CT scan that showed "suspicious" enlarged lymph nodes located between my heart and my lungs, I underwent a PET scan.
