Today I attended a meeting regarding my return to work. I’m delighted to say A phased return commencing 1st week in April has been agreed

I have worked in NHS for 35 years this July & would like to praise the care I have been given during my time since my Lung Cancer was diagnosed in October

I’m attending rehab classes & feel motivated to get my life back on track.

I still have to be monitored during the next five years however I am looking forward to my “changed lifestyle” & my remission from my illness.

I have not posted much however I have read all the posts since I joined after my Lobectomy

I would like to thank everyone for the positive comments & I am in awe of the courage of all of you with Long Term Conditions Your words inspired me & I wish everyone the Best possible Health in the future you are all AMAZING & I will wear my T shirt with pride 💖🙏💖

The best of news, I am so pleased for you. As you say, now it is time to start to get back into the routine of a normal life, although I have found that I look through new lenses and see life slightly differently now. The experience changes you, for the better I think.

That's lovely news. The PR will be great for you. Hopefull your area will have a post PR group you can continue with. There's one in my area, well, 10 miles away. I used to go twice a week and should recommence soon. The Gloucester one is £3 per session including drinks and biccies at the end.

Wishing you all the best. P
