Surgery+radiation+ADT orRadiation + ADT
Gleason 9, low PSA, already had TURP, spread to local lymph nodes in left side of pelvis. Have been given 2 treatment options: Surgery+radiation+ADT or Radiation + ADT. Brachytherapy possibly not an option due to previous TURP. Questions are: What are benefits of surgery? Would Surgery+radiation

AIH Liver pain
Hi TG123 I was diagnosed approx 12 years ago As my LFT/readings came down I was taken off of Prednisalone and moved over to Budisonide too From memory I experienced quite a lot of pain/discomfort in the liver area, I was advised that this was probably to do with the liver both eating the dead cells

Is pain normal/ok?
I have AIH and am on budesonide and azathioprine. This week I’ve been getting some pain in my liver is that normal or should I be calling my doctor? I’m pretty newly diagnosed so not sure what’s normal or not just yet. Any advice would be great

If the dr doesn’t see fatty liver on scan then is it still fatty liver?
I’ve been through a decent amount of tests endoscopy ct scan and many ultrasound scans and a hida scan nothing has shown anything abnormal with my liver. But when I take any type of meds which I’m on Prozac it goes up. When off meds my enzymes are ok. They stay in the mild elevated range. Cholesterol

Liver pain AFTER giving up alcohol
Hi all - wonder if someone could advise please? I gave up alcohol at Christmas after years of binge drinking. Strange thing is I now have upper right quadrant liver pain (dull ache) that wasn't there before. Sometimes but not always it radiates to my back. It's worse when I bend forward or reach up.

Liver is stable
Hi friends...just did all of my 6 month test and my liver is stable at this time. Stable meansing cirrhosis compensated, HCV treatment still 100% successful!!! But my blood is showing some concern, per GI doctor...and myself! My globulin in my blood is high and the doc says it's not liver related!!!

Hepatic Encephalopathy with F1 Fibrosis?
Hi, is it possible to experience Hepatic Encephalopathy with F1 Fibrosis? Here's my backstory.. I'm ashamed to admit I was a daily drinker for approx 20 years (I'm now in my mid forties) as I used it to self-medicate to help with anxiety (terrible idea I know). I must have been averaging around 80 units
