Hypothyroid or Bipolar?
Hi Everyone. It has been a while since I posted on here, because I have been chasing various doctors and psychiatrists to try and get myself sorted out! I had posted my thyroid blood test results on here, but it appears that they were incomplete, because of no T3 levels, but my TSH and T4 results suggested

Just occurred to me a well meaning friend suggested I take a dose of Bicarbonate of Soda at night which I did and whether I was heavy handed I dont know but was in real pain after it, also tried cider vinegar with honey and that made me worse also. I find milk does soothe my I.B.S. so I am evidently

Anyone have or know anybody with Hypercalcemia?
I saw my endocrinologist this past week and she thinks because I have had consistently high calcium and low vitamin D counts its very likely that I have hypercalcemia. She told me the it might require surgery to remove the gland. I was 99% sure that when I went through my Brainsway TMS treatment that

Advice please on low stomach acid.
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum. I've been having acid reflux since April and I've lost over two stone in weight. I'm eating all the time as I'm hungry, but not putting on the weight. I did the bicarbonate of soda test and never burped, so suspect low stomach acid. I was taking ranitidine, but stopped

Thinking about a 2nd baby has anyone got any advice on taking Lithium during pregnancy?
Hi, I suffered PP in October 2016 and had a subsequent Manic Episode in March this year. My psychiatrist has advised that given the severity of my Bi polar history I should stay on medication long term. I hadn’t imagined that would be the case and originally thought I would wait to try for a 2nd baby

Complication after dilation?
Hi, my husband has had his 1st dilation & is now experiencing something, during the day he.s fine but as soon as he starts to lay backwards to go to sleep, his throat tickles then he coughs, his mouth seems to fill with saliva? GI nurses said probably acid reflux as narrowing of oesphagus initially

Care falling apart
I was put under the crisis team last Friday as my depression hit a low and my care coordinator wanted me to have more intensive support. Which was all fine, and they were talking about a meds review and putting me on haloperidol PRN for when the breakthrough psychosis happens when my depot wears off

Sorry this is late!!! Here is my update!
Okay, so I realize the weekends are harder for me to post because I'm not sitting at my desk at work lol. However, I want to do my due diligence and report my updates! So let's start with Friday! Friday evening I allowed myself a can of soda with dinner since I figured I would be up a bit later than

Morning #2: An Update!
Okay, so yesterday I did the same routine of cutting out the caffeine save for one in the morning. I did however have one glass of black ice tea with lunch which I looked up and it doesn't have as much caffeine as say a can of coke. My previous lunch go to was a second energy drink. NO MAS! I know there

Sodium bicarbonate
Ive been taking half a tsp sodium bicarbonate for the past few weeks as I read an article suggesting it helps with inflammation and may be helpful. I'm happy to report a significant improvement in morning stiffness and turning over in bed throughout the night. As it tastes so vile I've been taking it

Update
So following my overdose I tried to leave intensive care, got about 3 miles away from the hospital when the police found me and dragged me back under a section 136. I spent 15 hours in the 136 suite before being placed on a section 2 and taken back to the psych ward. They took me off all my medications

Stimulated is this right? (New & Hey)
Hey, Think I am getting closer to diagnoses, after 4 odd years, the two suggested possibilities on the cards are Dysautomomia or FND. Tests will try and rule if it's the function of my nervous system, (as far as I know in Dysautonomia it shows signs of damage while as FND it's the 'wiring'

Acid levels and kidney disease
One of the causes for kidney deterioration can be from high acid levels. That is one of my main issues. It is called metabolic acidosis. In my case it is caused from having psoriatic arthritis. Many people try changing their acid level by eating certain alkaline foods (chart of alkaline foods https:/
