My new PCP has just changed my bp Med from lisinopril to almodipine and I wondered if anyone here has had any experience with this Med. Status Update Post-atrial Cardioäblation:
Had rapid atrial quivering/fibrillation develop in Feb '21 while I was focused on avoiding a second heart attack after having had a major one 9½ years earlier. Got put on meds to see if AFib could be managed that way but worsened to the point that by Aug, my heart was tracked at 244 BPM and I'd collapsed

Additional meds from my GP?
Hi Everyone, First to say I am pleased to have just about survived the first Mothering Sunday since my wife Sue's death. Not only the Mum of our lovely 3 kids, but she 'mothered me' too, and I miss it - (as our youngest kindly commented on my Fbook "You were her biggest challenge Dad!!). Also pleased

Lisinopril or Losartan?
I've read the ACE's and ARB's are all good for those with CKD and HBP. Sometimes when you start them, they may cause a temporary dip in eGFR, but it recovers. Then I read some posts on here saying Lisinopril is bad for kidneys? Any insights?

Health Update, 2 Weeks after starting Lorsartan
I made a previous post about my latest nephrology appointment. I want to thank you all for your responses and words of encouragement! I have chronic kidney disease (stage 3). Two weeks ago lorsartan was started and I noticed midway through that my blood sugars began maintaining dangerously low levels

Diet & CKD
Good morning, I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience? I told my neph that I was limiting protein, sodium and foods bad for the kidneys. She said that limiting protein etc is old school and instructed me not to add salt to any food. I am at a stage 3b. I have been reading posts on this

Lisinopril and Lipitor
I have high blood pressure and Afib. I had an MRI on my brain and the doctor found I have had a couple of strokes. Thankfully they made my left side numb, but nothing more. I take 20mg of lisinopril a day and 80mg of Lipitor. I am continually nauseated, and my leg muscles are weak. I feel off balance

Advice please
I've had paroxysmal AF for around 3 years and my episodes are extremely erratic. I can go several months with nothing at all and then out of the blue, it'll happen every couple of weeks. I'm on Lisinopril for high blood pressure and was prescribed Bisiprolol and Apixaban when the PAF was finally diagnosed

How do you stop tremors in my hands, every time I get pressurised under stress etc, my hands shake especially my fingers, I cannot type?
I have high blood pressure, take lisinopril, but my hands/fingers have a mind of their own, I want to use them but they shake, the more angry I get at them the worse they get! I have JME epilepsy it is probably a side effect of the medication, Vimpat and Briviact, that is causing it? I was on Fycompa

I was on Epilim and Lamictal for my Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy, bad shaking hands, was it Parkinson's disease, found reaction to Epilim!
My specialist had retired in 2013, but my GP thought it was Parkinson's disease as my father had dad it, negative test, but found it was a reaction built up over the years of Epilim, my new specialist in Dec. 2016 put me on Fycompa and Lamictal, within a couple of weeks I wanted to take up drawing classes

Uric Acid stones
Chuck just had two kidney stones removed (one 17 mm and one 6 mm) and a stent inserted. Just got back the results and they are uric acid stones. Just read what can cause them on the dietary spectrum but wanted to find out if anyone else has had these on Xtandi, Eligard or Zometa? He’s had one before
