private endos in Newcastle upon Tyne
Hi, My expectation of being prescribed
Liothyronine
at my upcoming NHS endo appointment is low to zero. I am done with feeling unwell and am not prepared to wait for a second opinion on the NHS. I need to reclaim my life so I will make an appointment with a private specialist straight after.

More gaslighting with obtaining T3 🙄
"When they put a request in for
liothyronine
it's not specifically stated what kind, so we just get what the distributors have in stock🤔 so it can be generic" 🤔.. So I slip in that Roma don't seem to have a problem at this minute with distribution,..

Now I'm really confused – surprising test results
I also take
liothyronine
, which they never comment on, but which I reduced 3 months ago from 25mcg a day to 18.75mcg a day. My thyroid results are TSH: 0.01 (0.3–4.2) T4: 20.4 (11.9–21.6) T3: 8.2 (3.1–6.8) I'm confused because I've been feeling more hypothyroid than ever.

T4 keeps dipping and Endo says levels are still “good” (but I feel exhausted)
My T4 would usually come out in between 18 to 20 pmol/L (range is 9.0 to 23.0 pmol/L), and my T3 whilst on the upper end of acceptable, would come out in between 4.6 and 6.5 pmol/L (range is 2.4 - 6.0). 3 months ago I switched from ERFA to
Liothyronine
(T3 pure), and kept the same 150mg Levothyroxine

Latest endo appointment. Will not increase T3 as TSH now low!!!!!
About 6 weeks ago, because of a change in make of
liothyronine
I made a mistake and instead of taking 2 x 10mcg tablets, I took 2 x 20mcg.When I realised, I anticipated the worst. However, I was fine, in fact more than fine. My prescribed dose was 30mcg daily.

Change in thyroid tests as I taper Prednisone
Honestly can't remember what my Levothyroxine dose was before I was diagnosed however throughout my battle with PMR I was taking 100mcg. and GP added 5mcg
Liothyronine
in 2020 as I apparently wasn't converting my T4.

T3 trial and latest blood test results
I am now taking 50mcg Levothyroxine and 25mcg

First Private Blood Test
My brief history is that I have had hypothyroidism for about 23 years, and for most of the time since 2008 I have taken the same medication - 50mcg levothyroxine and 20mcg
liothyronine
sodium. I have always been very tired and cold, weight gain, brain fog, constipation, dry skin, hair loss etc.

My GP has no idea how hypothyroidism has affected me.
He told me that my blood my TSH is elevated and that I need an increase of
liothyronine
. I told him I have an appointment with the Endocrinologist in a week or so, hence the blood test. He then asked me when I was going back to work as I have been off for quite a while. I'm afraid I got cross.
