Joint pain remedies - Infra red light?
I have been reading recently about infra-red
light
therapy
(LED phototherapy - has a bunch of names), used on skin but also on athletes for injuries of all sorts. Has anyone tried this? If so, did you get it from a physical therapist or doctor (or dermatologist)?

Red light/infra red therapy advice
Hi, does anyone know if it is safe to use red
light
/ infra red
therapy
on a shoulder injury if you have coronary stents fitted after heart attack. I’m looking to use it but not sure if it’s worth contacting my Dr about it. Many thanks for any help offered.

His swallow isn't as strong as it should be and ENT and speech therapist tried him with cuff down on the tracheotomy and holding over the opening, but he could only breathe in but not out. combined therapy help
Hi a little advise if possible: normally levo 125mg and thybon 5mg. A new endo has taken me off thybon to try and work out if I have diabetes inspidius (water balance issues). I think I was slightly too hyper but 3 weeks later and I feel terrible - weight gain, constipation, no apetite. I don’t think

Recurrence
I know with over OVCA (or any cancer), everyone hopes for “one and done”, but life sometimes doesn’t work out that way. I have had a number of reoccurrences but want to share that so far I’ve been knocking them back with various treatments, whether it be chemo, radiation, targeted therapy, immunotherapy

This chart compares the risk of developing metastasis from prostate cancer, after 5 years from curative treatment, between three different arms of the EMBARK study (published in 2023): (1) Lupron monotherapy; (2) Enzalutamide monotherapy; and (3) Enzalutamide + Lupron combination therapy. Nice to be here
I have just been diagnosed with severe chronic pancreatitis. I am really scared, even though I've had bad symptoms for some time. I'm on enzyme therapy and recently had to increase the dose. Would like to talk to people that have had experience with this. Thank you and I look forward to meeting you

Speech production technology
Has anyone tried speech production technology, such as Stephen Hawking used, for PSP patients? Was it successful or not? Our speech therapist is asking us to consider it since we cannot understand my husband any more. Thanks

NDT vs T4 T3 combination therapy
Hello everyone. Please share your experience NDT vs combination therapy. Currently I am on combo but still have symptoms (I have no thyroid). I am doing better on combo than on T4 only. I want to try NDT and see if it will make me feel better. Since both of them mainly contain T4 T3 may I expect significant

CRISPR 13 (what? you thought I abandoned CRISPR?): very promising proof of concept - Targeting HOXB13 in mPCa by CRISPR/Cas13d- nanoparticle
And people thought it was undruggable....they have already filed for a patent 😲 Researchers developed nanoparticles that can deliver a special type of gene therapy directly to cancer cells in the liver. This system uses a CRISPR technology, not to edit DNA, but to block the RNA of the HOXB13 protein
