Bone Pain!
I have a
lidocaine
patch on the area now, but it's not 100 percent effective. I tried some topical CBD but I don't think it penetrates well. Any other ideas, guys?

Lidocaine Plasters/Patches.
Hello Everyone I've just been told by my GP that he can no longer prescribe
Lidocaine
Patches and instead there is a cream!. I've been having them for a long time for neuropathic pain and just wonder if this is correct.?. Also, is anyone trying the cream called LMX and how are you finding it?.

Local Anaesthetic with bisoprolol - for non dental surgical procedures.
It was only afterwards that I read the NICE guidelines that
lidocaine
can produce a severe reaction with bisoprolol and can cause cardiac arrest, so isn’t to be given. I asked what anaesthesia it would be for this next procedure and was told I’d be given
lidocaine
again.

A tiny cutie
Seeing my Pain Consultant yesterday for my leg injections, she said us patients with nerve pain can still be prescribed
lidocaine
patches. Gp's have been wrongly using them which is why CCG's have clamped down as they're expensive!!. Hope thats helpful for you too.

Trochanteric Bursitis Pain Relief
Treatment take hydrocodone for pain and a
lidocaine
gel topically which also has a long acting ingredient. Given stretching exercises to do at home for the muscle that is next to the inflamed bursa. I have also started having urine leakage. Any other suggestions for pain relief?

Methadone and Anxiety
On another note, I am experiencing anxiety in situations, that I have never had before, recently on a long airplane flight, and with a simple pain management visit to the doctor for
lidocaine
injections to the spine. Pain management doctor feels it is the methadone spiking these feelings.

Pain control with PLMD
Tylenol is not sufficient (I am going to try a
lidocaine
patch today for the first time and hope that will help). I have been on almost every opioid and had trouble with them. Most recently I retried Tramadol and Oxycondone, both caused PLMD rebound.

Severe Bruising and vasculitis/MCD/Other Dx
He felt around in the wound (it was injected full of
lidocaine
and pain free) and believed there were no glass pieces left in the wound. The wound is healing quite nicely, bandage change daily with antibiotic ointment.

Anyone any experience with remifentanil?
I have an allergy to
lidocaine
so it looks like epidurals are not recommended due to using a drug from the same family.

POST-HERPETIC NEURALGIA
The virus was still present so I was prescribed more aciclovir as well as pregabalin and
lidocaine
patches for the pain. The aciclivor did clear the virus but the pain remained. It was decided then to commence the CLL treatment last summer.

Not All Prostate Biopsies Are Alike!
I have always considered the early part of the biopsy process when the
lidocaine
was injected as "blindingly painful". But for whatever reason, I didn't feel the
lidocaine
injections at all this time!

shoulder pain PMR or costocondritis?
The pain doctor thinks it’s costocondritis and gave me a private prescription for
lidocaine
patches but so far they haven’t touched the pain Now I’m wondering could it be our friend PMR? It seems it’s all guesswork - suck it and see !

Two weeks of relief
Short-term things that have helped during this time have been sleeping on a futon (no movement when my spouse moved); walking on a treadmill for a half hour when I couldn’t sleep; tiring my legs through leg lifts; cold water, especially immersion; hot epsom baths; vibration plate on my calves;

He is even going to contact Gynaecology to enquire if there is an alternative to
Lidocaine
ointment for the genital sores. Wow, honestly I am so so relieved and grateful.
