So following on from GP, sneaky GP posts following months of feeling rubbish, stressed, angry, anxiety through the roof, mood so low keep randomly crying . Bloods last year TSH 0.01 and FT4 21.6 (12-22) , explained about T3 suppressing TSH but Sneaky GP reduced meds . Have felt awful as my being MIA

Help with short synacthen test results
I originally posted this on the thyroid section of this site, but there appears to be some good experience of the short synacthen test here too, so I hope this is ok. Quick background, I’m 38 years old, male, and been experiencing pretty debilitating symptoms for about 6 years - fatigue, brain fog,

genetic tests for conversion issues etc
hi lovely forum users I’ve finally got an endo appointment via my doctor no date yet. I doubt they’ll smile on my taking ERFA but I’ve no intention of going back to Levo only as it worked less and less for me over the years. I’ve wondered if I have a T4 to T3 conversion issue and have found a blue horizon

Help understanding short synacthen test result
First and foremost, apologies if I’m posting this in the wrong place, but I’ve seen other helpful reasons on this forum about short synacthen tests for adrenal insufficiency, and thought it worth a shot. Quick background, I’m 38 years old, male, and been experiencing pretty debilitating symptoms for

Recently diagnosed, WBC numbers stable but RBC/HGB trending down
Hi Everyone, I was diagnosed this October. My current WBC is around 15,000. I am Del 13q and mutated, so good markers. My 3 month blood draw actually showed a slight decrease in WBC, however for the third draw in a row my RBC and HGB have gone down. HGB is low end of normal and RBC is slightly

Followed advice here, now need help with understanding results
Hi, I’ve learned more here in the last year or so than I’ve ever learned from doctors. I’ve also come to know that I’ve probably been on too low of a Synthroid dosage for far too long. I am hypothyroid with Hashimoto’s since 2005 or 2006. I had a goiter on my parathyroid and had surgery to remove

Hello there, I’ve been working on getting myself to feel well with the help of this forum for a few years, and most productively in the last 14 months. Vitamin D, B12, Folate, Ferritin all at optimal levels. Was taking 137.5mcg Levo. Was still a poor converter so saw private endo Feb who prescribed

Help with trying to close the gap between FT4/3
I’ve been tweaking Metavive dose and type (bovine and porcine) to try to raise FT4. It’s now at 40% and I’m happy with that because it’s risen from 12% but my FT3 is now 100%, which I don’t want - although I don’t feel over medicated at the moment Test was done as per protocol and I’d been on this

PSA rising on Triplet Therapy after <18m
Hi all. Hope you are keeping your spirits high. This is a follow up to a post I made in 2022 about my father. I haven't posted since, which reflects the period of relative normalcy that followed the commencement of ADT (triplet therapy) at MSK. I want to pause to appreciate that since I know most of

T4/T3 Combi Overmedicated Help Please
I posted yesterday about my recent feelings of overmedication but didnt get many replies. Its just symptoms, not blood tests, but had palpitations, fatigue, fast heart beat, shortness of breath. Was on 150mcg Levo and 12.5 T3 daily. Also added daily selenium which might have complicated things. Cut

Slow Release T3 - SRT
Hi, My Dr has offered me Slow Release T3 or Sustained Release T3. I'm happy to try it, but it's expensive, so I wanted to gather peoples thoughts and experience before I proceed. Many thanks.

Early morning blood tests
I see on other posts that an early morning blood test before 09:00hrs is suggested for an accurate reading. I went to have bloods taken yesterday morning at 08:55hrs for ferritin. My phlebotomist found that my blood flow was a bit on the slow side... but ok for the lab test. She thought she might have
