Moderate cognitive impairment, weight gain, suicidal - at my wits' end with severe adrenal fatigue
I am literally at rock bottom with my adrenal fatigue. I have no social or dating life, I am rapidly gaining weight, my memory is getting worse, I'm starting to stutter and take longer to comprehend basic conversation and information. My cognition has deteriorated significantly over the past two years

Adrenal support
Has anyone found that CT3M did not work for them and tried another method which was successful. I have been really struggling on T3 only using CT3M. My saliva test in July had improved but my blood cortisol done a few weeks later was very low at 213. I have had lots of problems trying to raise the

adrenal cortex or adrenal extract?
Sorry if this has been asked before. I read recently that patients with more severe adrenal fatigue can feel better on adrenal extract, while patients with mild or moderate AF should try adrenal cortex (ACE) first. It seems products with adrenal extracts contain more ingredients, and possibly more helpful

Im on 20mg in morn and 10mg in arvo (he said night but i plan on 4pm as to not play havoc with sleep). He said when im unwell i need to double it. I currently have sinus

Hypothyroid, low cortisol high heart rate.
Hi folks! I'm at a loss as to why my heart rate is high. I was diagnosed hypo a year ago, took levo for 8 months then switched to Armour (now on it for 4 months). Did well initially but had palps and anxiety once I got to 2.5 grains so dropped back to 2 grains. Bloods showed T4 16.9 (mid range) and T3

Here we go again! Next stop - private?
It's been a very disappointing & stressful day. I saw an NHS Endo in July this year, he was nice enough but I didn't get the vibe that he was going to be a lot of help from the beginning. But I managed to get some more blood tests ordered from him with a follow up appointment scheduled for today. Well

Has anyone managed to stay off thyroid meds after starting nutri adrenal extra and nutri thyroid?
Hi all, I am 12 days off thyroxine 75mcg and 7 days into taking NAX. I increased to 2 NAX a couple of days ago. I undertook the Genova adrenal saliva test that showed stage 3 adrenal fatigue with 2 low cortisol levels in the day (just under) and a low DHEA to cortisol ratio. I hit the skids 2 weeks ago

First NHS Endo visit
Well how did it go, ok he didn't discharge me outright so that's good! He did ask some pertinent questions such as family medical history and as far as I know no-one in my immediate family has had any known thyroid issues but my mum has rheumatoid arthritis as did my Dad so the likelihood is that I've

T3 is making me unwell
Hello all, I have Hashimoto and recently managed to get a referral to an endo. I got T3 as I have conversion issues. At the time of appointment he increased my levo from 100 to 125 mcg daily. then I got a letter saying to reduce it back to 100mcg and add 10mg of T3. I take 2 x 5mg pill one in morning

MOD Report Fibromyalgia - Gov.uk
Hello fellow members ! A handy document to reference to maybe? 3.1. No single specific cause of FMS has yet been identified. The absence of any peripheral pathology and the presence of widespread tissue hyperalgesia suggest a central mechanism for the syndrome rather than some pathological process

New to this site and asking for advice please
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2008, by TSH level only, after at least two years of symptoms, illness and two sinus ops, that my then GP put down to my age,the menopause,my work etc. A truly miserable and debilitating time. I started on 25mcg Levo which increased to 50, then after about five years
