Laxatives

I have a 6 year old daughter who attends school and was conspaited not sure that’s how it’s spelt I took to the doctors they have put her on laxatives and now she keeps getting over flow so she having accident in school I’m not sure how long it’s going last any one else going through same thing with

until the end of May when I went back to work the beginning of June , within three days I was calling the doctor back saying I'm having trouble going to the bathroom and I'm being late for work and this is never happened to me before , so the doctor said to take this and that stool softeners and laxatives

Now I’m feeling very bunged up again and laxatives aren’t working an I am gutted! Did anyone else have extreme side effects? Is there something similar out there that may help?

The other problem I have is I dont have normal bowel movements, I have to tske laxatives every night ans some times they don't work, but when they do I need access to a toilet straight away. Could the symptoms I have with eating problems be classed as a disability?

Been to the dr several times and have been given laxatives and suppositories- these don’t seem to do anything to help and we’ve eventually been referred- middle of November before we are being seen. In the meantime does anyone know anything else I could try?

He has been put on some very strong laxatives over the next few days to clear out his system. I hate giving him this medication, does any know of any particular foods that would help the situation in a more natural way? He has also been referred to a constipation clinic, what will they do?

I’d tried suppositories and laxatives from doc but nope and it was all put down to constipation during pregnancy. I thought I was having contractions and went to hospital to be told nope but I was in severe agony. They kept me in.

Yoghurt to help digestion and took laxatives. I can honestly say this morning the swelling is easing the pain has gone but I still have to keep an eye on the constipation side of things.

Constipated and laxatives are not helping. Also itching a lot. Have an appointment with my GYN Dr. Tuesday at 2:00. I’m trying to be patient, but so miserable it’s hard. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had the same big cysts like I do?

I've recently started laxatives (cosmocol and fibogel) and they're a long term solution at the moment. I've noticed that my weight has been dropping, though. Has this happened to you? Is it normal? How do I stop it? Thanks C x

It’s now around 12.45 to 1am and it’s all about getting cleaned up and trying to get some sleep I thought I’d endured enough embarrassment for one day then she came back in the room and said because of all the laxatives we’ve given you plus the enema and the sepository I’m gonna need you to wear this

Well I never new having gut can be so painful 😖 like it not squashing lungs is bad enough. Well that’s new issue that as raised it head. When you press side of my abdomen can feel long hard lump can even see it distorting my belly. Cause of action heavy Duty laxative’s to see if it’s colon obstruction

I have been taking it for a year now and feel so much better I used to feel bloated and was constipated and had to use laxatives but now I'm regular and not bloated. I love it!

I am unable to go anywhere because of the urgent need to use the toilet even though I have not taken any laxatives for 2 weeks now. Could the prolapse which feels worse be having an effect on my bowel movement? Can anyone suggest help.

constant constipation’s according to my gp so at times when I go I strain to much & the toilet is filled with blood the gp has tried me with Fybogel but that didn’t make any difference they tried me on similar other brands but they was stronger and more laxative & I found out I’m very sensitive to laxatives

She told me to deal with the bowel adhesions with regular laxatives and lots of water. I’m constantly constipated and sweating/crying with BMs!! I’m so frustrated.

So don’t be worried about illusinating it will happen and concern you but remember you using very strong painkillers to get you through.. had my first bowel movement today and wanted to celebrate the fact but I decided to ignore it as I knew Sam was getting very anxious about her laxatives not working

I am on Movicole laxatives everyday. Basically as soon as I get up from the minute I drink anything (even if I eat nothing), I begin to bloat up. If I drink a glass of water it is instantly noticeable.

I’m knackered all the time still, my heart rate goes through the roof when I just walk for more than a few minutes somewhere, and I’m having to take daily laxatives.

Could this be the blockage been unblocked after 6 laxatives? I went this morning very small super soft and twice this afternoon bigger but still soft but not water! Just horrible!! 💩💩💩
