I lost half my blood in 2004 after I found that out from bloodwork that I had done, I was told to go to the emergency room , nine doctors looked at me and admitted me for a blood transfusion and then sent me home the next day at noon not finding where the blood I lost came from ? I was still bleeding and went to a gastroenterologist who did two colonoscopies within nine months from the blood transfusion . And then sent me to another doctor that found a deep Fissure in three seconds ? Five times the doctor said I have a deep Fissure , so five times I said what is a Fissure ? Anyway The doctor said I had a real DEEP FISSURE, A real deep hole right inside my anus, right on the edge of outside basically , and the doctor said aren't YOU in pain and YOU drove your self here today ? and said I needed surgery right away ? So I said I'll cancel my vacation and then it turned around to say no you can go on vacation just call me when you get back and we'll schedule it and do it ? And I told the doctor my vacation was not for two weeks for two weeks so the surgery didn't happen for six weeks ? Anyway the surgery happened in the beginning of May 2005, and I was put on pain medicine for the pain of that surgery until the end of May when I went back to work the beginning of June , within three days I was calling the doctor back saying I'm having trouble going to the bathroom and I'm being late for work and this is never happened to me before , so the doctor said to take this and that stool softeners and laxatives, fiber, nothing worked, I only got worse ? I got so bad I was hospitalized at the beginning of July 2005 with diverticulitis ? After six hours in the emergency room they finally gave me something for the pain and within 15 minutes I was running to the bathroom and I filled the toilet up because everything came out of me ?? That was the beginning of an awful future !! I was out of work the rest of that summer and struggled until I was told I have Lyme disease in 2011 ? So they treated me for Lyme disease and gave me oxycodone pain medicine and I ate every day pooped every day and worked every day until the lyme disease doctor told me I was clear and I said get me off of these pills !! Within A week I knew something wasn't right and I started struggling again and within two months from that I was calling the lime disease doctor back saying I'm not better and I am the same way I was before I came to you now ? That doctor didn't want to see me anymore ?? So from 2011 to 2014 I was back at the Gastro dr. And in 2014 June , I couldn't work anymore, and by November, the gastro doctor gave me a prescription for pain medicine and I pooped in the toilet really good for the first time in over a year !!! The Gastro doctor couldn't keep giving me the pain medicine so I had to go to pain management , so they're giving me oxycodone so I can go to the bathroom ? It makes no sense because it supposed to constipate you and I had knee surgery in 1983 and I still remember excepting the pain in my knee from the surgery I had !! and being able to go to the bathroom finally because it did constipate me and I had to get off of them to go in 1983 ?? I think the surgeon that did the Fissure surgery in 2005 cut my Vegus nerve down there because the surgeon said they cut the bad part out and no stitches and you heal back yourself ? And also said how REALLY deep it was which kind of scares me now after everything I've read ? But I am a lot worse now than I was in 2011 when I was on pain medicine with the lyme disease doctor because back then I could eat whatever I wanted and work and poop and no problem The whole year I was on pain medicine and with the lime disease doctor , and now I can't eat more than one potato a day or I'll either get sick like I have the flu or vomit or both ? It still works to help me go but not as good as back then ? I got off the pain medicine in January 2018 for over two months and ended up in the emergency room on April 1, 2018 , and the hospital was no help even though they found swelling and things wrong inside they actually said why did I bother coming ?? So I went to pain management the next day and they put me back on oxycodone and I came home and ate one and within 15 minutes not only did I feel movement inside me but the noise that everything was making in my stomach and intestines , I didn't go that day but the next morning I woke up at 6 AM in pain took a pill and within 15 to 20 minutes I had the best poop I've had in months !!! So I think it actually wakes my nerves up for stimulates something it makes my stomach muscles work in my intestine muscles work ? Has anybody had a Fissure and gone through anything like this ?? ??

You poor thing. I am so sorry for your struggles. I have not had a fissure nor bleeding. I can relate to the Bowel matters but wow, you have been through so much. I sure hope you can find a good doctor that can sort this all out for you. Sounds as if the pain meds are the issue maybe, at least right now but the fissure was a medical emergency that could not be avoided. I know it’s frustrating and I wish you the best.
