Failed Dc Cardioversion
I recently posted of my Frankenstein procedure and some asked me to follow up. Here goes... Alas, it was nice while it lasted. I had a blissful and reflective nine days of NSR with an average of my old 62 resting bpm heart rate. Failure was always on the cards as my heart was banging around a bit

93 year old Mum with vascular dementia, advice please regarding supplements vs anti-clotting drug
My dear Mum who was diagnosed with vascular dementia in 2015 after many years of me telling doctors that she had memory problems. All they did was put memory problems on her notes. Finally she had an MRI and a diagnosis. Mum has taken supplements all her life starting with her Mum giving her rosehip

Considering self-treating with NDT. Advice and tips gratefully received
I am 50 yrs old, a Brit living in The Netherlands. I still have some hypo symptoms and I am thinking about self-treating with NDT, just not sure how much would be appropriate. Happy to hear from someone with experience. Below are my 3 blood test results over the last 18months: 06/04/16 by GP in NL

Iv tried Kalms one a day

but they didn’t work. Are there any other remedies that could help a bit? Iv also tried chamoile tea and that doesn’t do anything either.

Night Sweats & Hot Flashes relief
Taking Tamoxifen since October 2017 now and increasing having the hot flashes and night sweats. Split my dose to 10 mg tab morning and 10mg night and that has maybe helped some. Non-cyclical Breast Pain/ Mastalgia & Hypothyroidism: supplementing with Iodine, Progesterone, etc.
I’ve had a search through this forum and found a few posts regarding links between breast and thyroid issues. I take 75mcg T3 and 75mcg T4. You may remember my last blood tests (posted here late last year) which made my GP cross, as they showed I’d gone and self-medicated with T3 - despite him saying

My list of daily supplements
Now that I am finally recovering from the flu I am going to post what the daily regimen of supplements I am taking. Prior to listing the vitamins, minerals, amino acids....I am taking, I need to relate a little history. I have a degree in sculpture and was exposed to many chemicals including toluene

From Broken Brain episode 6 re progesterone
One huge segment about traumatic brain injury was about a boy who was hit by a car and left to die. In fact later doctors said he would never be normal again and to pull the plug as they say. As mothers are she persisted and takes us through his rehabilitation after a coma. It is an amazing story

Laparoscopy - no endo!
So I had my laparoscopy yesterday and I’m in pain but keeping on top of painkillers as much as I can. The gas pain comes and goes but I’m taking peppermint oil tablets to help with that. I have two incisions, one on my left and the belly button. I didn’t feel that bad when I came round, just tired!
