latanoprost and headaches
hi I’ve been using latanoprost eye drops for 7 weeks now, I have suspicious discs and a family history of glaucoma ( mother) and when prescribed my pressures were 22 in both eyes. For the last week I have woken with a headache, and I’m wondering if this could be related to the eye drops, as this is

hi Is the an alternative to Latanoprost drops, that doesn’t need to be kept chilled? It’s the hassle of being on holiday and trying to maintain a chilled storage. If there is an alternative can I mix and match with latanprost or would it have to be a permanent switch? The latanoprost is obviously

Latanoprost
Hi - I've also run out of Latanoprost and have been unable to source any at all. I am a little concerned as my eye pressure has increased a lot due to current sinus problems. Is there an alternative or equivalent that anyone has tried please? I have contacted my doc but still awaiting a reply. Many

Latanoprost (Monopost)
My Chemist is having difficulty in getting Latanoprost drops and now I am getting worried! Is anybody else having difficulty getting this and is there a shortage?

Hylo Tear before eye drops
I take Timolol twice a day (10 am & 10pm). One day a week I need to be out by 9.15 and so take my Timolol early. As I do voluntary work on a local Nature Reserve it is not a very appropriate place to be taking the Hylo Tear. So I would like to administer the lubricant BEFORE the Timolol. While the instructions

Tissue Press Method for Instilling Eyedrops
Hello from Canada. While I am new here, I am not new to glaucoma. I’ve been taking drops for 10 years and have had two SLT surgeries. Covid delays have really slowed testing and seeing an opthamologist so I am really not sure about the progression of my glaucoma. I have to wait until April for a visual

Timolol side effects?
That was also the day I was switched from
latanoprost
to
latanoprost
/
timolol
. Can timolol cause all of the above? I had SLT three weeks ago and I am waiting for check-up in three weeks time, so hopefully I can change drops. But has anyone experienced something similar?

Loss of central vision after starting to use Latanoprost
Hi everyone - great to find this community. I have been trying to find if anyone has had a similar experience to me. I have had high myopia since I was a child. Think I am about -13 to -14. My main issue started in 2008 when the cataract in my left eye thickened considerably. I then had cataracts

Drops not working
I was put on
latanoprost
/
timolol
but that is not working either. I have now lost some vision in one eye. I asked to have SLT and I am waiting to get that done but the doctor said that if Latanoprost doesn’t work SLT will not work either. Is it true? I can’t find much online.

Pregnancy
Hi, I have pigment dispersion syndrome with a small amount damage to my right optic nerve but no change on visual fields on either eye. My pressures are relatively well controlled on latanoprost and dorzolamide. I am planning on trying to get pregnant next year and wondered how others managed their eyes

Confused about pressure and trabs
I was told to continue taking
Latanoprost
/
Timolol
. When I went to the follow-up 6 weeks later, the pressure was down to 18 L and 24 R from 28 and 34, and the doctor was quite pleased. I had to continue with the eyedrops and come back after 8 weeks .

Hello I’m fairly new to this site and you all seem such a cohesive and friendly family. I was diagnosed with pseudoexfoliation glaucoma in July of this year following a couple of subconjunctival haemorrhages in my left eye. It’s stable now with Dorzolamide/Timolol eyedrops and I visit the Eye Clinic

Confused about laser treatment
SLT laser treatment v Panretinal Laser Treatment. Hello, this is my first posting on this forum, and I am looking for some clarification (if possible). I have inter ocular pressure in both eyes but the Consultant says it is not Glaucoma. The optic nerve is not damaged. I have eye drops, Monopost and

long term effects of drops
I’ve been prescribed
Latanoprost
once a day in both eyes and Brinzolamide/
timolol
(Azarga) in left eye twice a day. Will I need to add moisturising eye drops and if so which ones and when in my daily regime? I am due to have an iridotomy soon, will I still need drops after that procedure?

Long term eye drop use
Hello folks. Does anyone have experience of long term usage of multiple eye drops please? I’m going back to see my consultant next week to review the results of the SLT from a couple of months ago. While my pressure still seems to spike at high twenties it hasn’t gone above that since the procedure

Timing of drops and red eye
Hi, I use drops for both eyes and have Monopost (preservative free Latanoprost single unit doses) in the evening as Latanoprost in a bottle caused irritation. Two weeks ago, Brinzolomide 12 hourly was added. ( This does have preservative and may have to be changed. However, it is not causing daily problems

normal tension glaucoma
Went back to hospital for pressures checking 6 weeks after being diagnosed with glaucoma. I'm using latanoprost. Nothing had changed and he said he would speak to the consultant and I would hear from them. I asked what type of glaucoma I have and he said normal tension. He wasn't very forthcoming
