Hylo Tear before eye drops

I take Timolol twice a day (10 am & 10pm). One day a week I need to be out by 9.15 and so take my Timolol early. As I do voluntary work on a local Nature Reserve it is not a very appropriate place to be taking the Hylo Tear. So I would like to administer the lubricant BEFORE the Timolol. While the instructions in the leaflet say to leave 1/2 hr between administering eye drops and then administering the lubricant there is no guidance about how long AFTER administrating the Hylo Tear one can administer other eye drops.

Has anybody been given any advice on this?

I also take Timolol twice daily, 7am and 7pm, however it is important to stay regular in your time schedule.

Regardless of going early anywhere, just put your drops in your eyes just wherever you are.

I just take mine with me and in coffee shops, work, public transport or anywhere I just tilt back my head and drop in the Timolol

Absolutely right! It’s your eye health that’s the priority and everybody should understand those needs! I was at chair yoga this afternoon and the lovely community room was rather hot, and I could get a strong whiff of some paint or preservative there too which my eye didn’t like at all! Out came the Hyco drops and nobody gave a stuff! Take care and look after yourself! 🌺

I use eye drops first thing after cleaning around my eyes with cooled boiling water on a cosmetic pad....then I wait 5-10 minutes before using Timolol (Tiopex). I've been given that advice by my ophtho. It's worth noting tho that the drops I use - Celluvisc - are liquid and not viscous. I do have viscous ones ie ones that are thicker and I would give those a bit longer to be sure the solution has cleared.

I have been advised to use Hylo tears half an hour before administering my glucoma eye drops.
