Update on my Dad
Well...first time taking a breath. My Dad became so weak he couldn’t keep himself in a sitting position at times, other times, though very weak, with help standing, he could use a walker. Then, not interested in football! So tired just wanted to go back to bed, not shaving, getting dressed too much trouble

Getting off Lasix aka Furosemide
I am trying to wein myself off all my tablets constantly, over what period were you able to come off Furosemide and how did you do it? I am starting to think miss a day when i wake up with the correct weight? I tried to reduce my dosage daily, but I think its better to skip the odd day here and there

LASIK for improving eye sight
Doing a
Lasik
surgery, seem like, a better option now. Would you guys fancy recommending
Lasik
centers in Boston? My previous doctor suggested, not to perform eye correction surgery considering my medical record.

I am a diabetic patient, will there be any problem in undergoing LASIK eye surgery?
How about
Lasik
surgery? I am a diabetic patient, will there be any problem in undergoing
LASIK
eye surgery ( https://www.avantlasikspa.com/ )? How many days should I take rest after the surgery? Or should I go with PiXL? I heard PiXL is a painful procedure. Is that correct?

Resilence.
For my left eye, I had laser surgery (not
lasik
) where they 'weld' your retinal tears shut. You're awake during the procedure and it is very painful as you have to move your eye around in order for them to hit the tears properly all whilst the smell of your flesh burning fills your nostrils.

Ablation Follow up
I was given extra
lasik
and pain meds to help. The doctor said this could last a couple of weeks. The pain is gone but the fluid remains even with the
lasik
. I was given some medication used for gout but recently they've found it works for the inflammation in cardiovascular patients.

Venetoclax and Swelling
My cardiologist put me on 80 mg of
Lasik
twice a day and 25 mg of a diuretic once a day two weeks ago. The swelling has continued at about the same level as before but is not getting any worse as of this date (Apr 27).

TIL Clinical Trial: Day +14
Quick update while my darling is sleeping, which you know is a rarity in a hospital. Today is Day +14 since the TIL infusion (that's how they count. Zero day is transplant day.) I'm including a photo of the giant, heavy, metal casing for the nitrogen frozen cells that came 100mg/bag in 4 bag doses.

Is LASIK surgery a viable option?
So I was wondering if medical insurance would cover a
LASIK
surgery. I am not that financially strong. Is there any type of insurance that would cover the surgery? Do share your thoughts, please.

HF or not HF - That is the question!
GM everyone! I write here for my mother who is 93 yrs old. She has a pacemaker and we see a EP every 6 months to check on her status and the status of the battery life in the PM. For a few years now, he has “intimated” that my mother has HF and valve problems. She also has tachycardia and edema in

Question on fluid draining with chf
Good Evening All - My mother has end stage chf and we are seeing her doctor tomorrow for a possible hospitalization so she can have fluid drained from her body. She is very congested all over her body and her legs are weeping. I was wondering how they would drain her at the age of 93? She is on 40

The artist
I know I have asked but really like to know if anyone has had a lot of fluid retention from ibrance or Arimidex? I’m curious to see from which one causes it and what they may replace it with. I go to oncologist Monday and would like to know what options are on them or are the meds going to continue

Platelet and fluid retention problem
I found out I have MBC in Nov. I’m on Ibrance and Arimidex. My platelets drop so low I have gone from 125mg to 100mg now going to try 75mg. I just got out of hospital because of pneumonia and I had so much fluid retention I felt like I was being crushed. In 5 days I have gotten 5 gallon of fluid

Myopia IS reversible
The worst thing that could happen is that you get bored and eventually quit to select
LASIK
, as it would not be a quick-fix solution many dream of.

Gabapentin caused congestive heart failure
I'm really having an awful time thanks to Gabapentin. I have congestive heart failure for the second time. My ex doctor refused to give me Lasix, and when I told him I was having symptoms of an allergic reaction he told me to take it anyway. Yesterday I had an echocardiogram and the results were "good
