pain in the bottom…literally 😳
I haven’t had endo on the bowel diagnosed as yet as waiting for another lap but I do have a lot of symptoms. One particularly bad one recently has been pains in my bottom especially when sitting ( I call it butt lightening) ☺️🤦♀️. A bit embarrassing but painful. Does anyone else get these pains too

Post Lap bleeding
Hi all, I have endometriosis and adenomyosis and recently had my 4th laposcopy 2 weeks. I had a mirena fitted, but have been bleeding since. Has anyone experienced this? I have always been anemic as well, so know this is building up as well. I ve heard the mirena might take time to settle as well. Any

As I emphasised the importance of preserving any chance I have in terms of fertility, a
Laparoscopy
was suggested. I was referred to the Fertility Clinic and carried out the required tests etc.

post lap bleeding
hi, I had my lap 3 weeks ago on Friday. Just wondered how long spotting continues for? Along with stage 3 on bladder, rectum, pelvis wall and ovaries I had a endometrial polyp removed too. I’d say my spotting has improved but still very random. Thank you

Issues after laparoscopy
Hi everyone, I had my
laparoscopy
almost three weeks ago and I’m just wondering if my post surgery issues are normal. I’ve been having pain with bowel movements ever since the surgery and it doesn’t seem to be letting up.

*Sensitive* Thank you and good bye ❤️
I first joined this forum in 2016! Which was the start of my journey. I am so lucky that my journey is now at an end and my family is complete, to write that is surreal as I never imagined it would happen. I hope with all my heart that you all find this peace and can be relieved of never having to think

Chances of getting a hysterectomy on the nhs aged 30?
Anyone had any success getting a hysterectomy at aged 30 ? If so what did you have to do to persuade your gp it was right for you ? After 12 yrs of back and forth with no progress, I want to be able to make a choice myself. Finally a gp suggested endo in 2021 but nothing is confirmed. My ovaries

4 months post surgery problems
In December I had a laproscopy where they found endometriosis, they removed one patch and left one because it was too dangerous to remove. Ever since the surgery I'm having random urinary leakage. Only very small amounts and usually when I'm not exerting e.g I'll be sat watching TV and realise I've leaked

Had my lap today.
Thought I'd update on my surgery today for anyone that hasn't had theirs yet. My bilateral cystectomy went really well. I had three rods put in and my ovarian cysts were pulled out through my belly button (lol ewww). Had endometrial ablation and mirena. Turns out I was absolutely riddled with endo but

What next 🙁
After 9 years between appointments etc I have had my
laparoscopy
Thursday and now have an endo diagnosis. I thought I was pretty well prepared for the potential outcome/findings however feeling so overwhelmed with where I am at now. Has anyone else had a gynae diagnose but not fully treat?

First lap tomorrow eek.
Wish me luck, I'm nervous. Having ovarian cystectomy, endometrial ablation and mirena. 😬 Did anyone take wind medication afterwards? Lol.

Bunny Rabbits, Eggs and lots of Deer.
Just before Covid, I had entered a 5k Easter run at Chasewater, a venue just around the corner from my in-laws. All plans of a weekend running with a family Sunday lunch to follow, were lost to Covid restrictions and I ran the 5k as a virtual run at home. This Easter Sunday I woke up in my SIL’s house

hysterectomy
hi I’m due to have a laparoscopic hysterectomy next month. just wanted other ladies opinions on how long I will be off work. I know it does depend on what work you do so I work as a lifeguard in a leisure centre so am worried about going back too soon as I will always have to be ready to act on any

My first post: diagnostic laparoscopy didn't find anything but the horrible pain is still there
I finally had a diagnostic
laparoscopy
and apparently no endometriosis was found. They strongly suggested to have the Mirena coil fitted again. Now, I had the
laparoscopy
on the 16/11, I’ve been spotting since the 26th and bleeding since the 29th.

Help… too young for lap
I was really upset and voiced in my apt that I need to know what is causing this issue, rather than just masking and wanted a
laparoscopy
but she said I am too young and it comes with risks when the coil can just help the symptoms.

can’t have surgery until lost weight?
I’m having to have a diagnostic
laparoscopy
. I’ve had to switch consultants and was asked by waiting lists my height and weight and was told depending on my BMI the surgeon might not do it. I’m currently on the Depo and I feel it makes me gain weight easily.
