Increased pain and dr un helpful
I had a
laparoscopy
and since then the pain has got 100 times worse. I had an ultra sound which suggested pelvic congestion. I saw the doctor yesterday who said that wasnt to be taken seriously and that he expected my pain to get worse.

So many questions... hardly any answers 😕 Endemetriosis Stage 4 !
I've now had my follow-up appointment from a
Laparoscopy
and Salpingetomy that I had in June 2023 and had the following options from my practioner; 1. Try and have a baby naturally/IVF 2. Have a tablet to have a false pregnancy 3. Start my menopause.

Newbie looking for advice, laparoscopy booked but I’m confused!
I’ve had my first consultant appointment and I’m booked/on the list for a diagnostic
laparoscopy
- I have no idea if there are any next steps or what to expect though?

what makes a surgeon a endo specialist?
my
laparoscopy
surgeon is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist when I googled him it did say he’s surgical work involves endo at the end of the list. I’m scared that he don’t see my endo as I’ve read so many stories on here

Dienogest
My gynae dr moved me from Cerelle contraception to Dienogest as that apparently prevents the growth of endometriosis… I had my
laparoscopy
surgery in Nov 2021 which confirmed what I said all my life as a young girl to a grown adult- I have endometriosis.

Does your endo come back with different symptoms to before?
I was diagnosed with endo in 2019 during a
laparoscopy
. I never had painful or heavy periods but did have deep nagging pelvic and lower back pain. The endo was removed by excision and I've been fine ever since.

Adenomyosis resources
My consultant said the Transvaginal scan and the
Laparoscopy
I just had both showed signs of Adenomyosis. I’m keen to help myself in any way I can to reduce chronic pain, bowel symptoms and anxiety while I wait for my follow up appointment, but I can find far fewer resources on adeno versus endo.

Really bad thigh pains
I'm still awaiting a
laparoscopy
for a diagnosis. I've been bleeding continuously for about 2 weeks, so the pelvic pain has ramped up again, despite having the mirena coil. The front of my thighs are killing me. Stabbing pains, that are waking me up in the night.

Hope, perhaps?
I know how difficult it is to live with endo (of course), so I wanted to share any positive experiences to anyone who might need it.I had my first
laparoscopy
(both diagnostic and therapeutic, in the end), in July, so I'm about 6 weeks out now.

I had a
laparoscopy
& ablation, then a mirena coil fitted. Honestly it has just been a case of dealing with different and more extreme symptons i wouldnt say any of it has helped.

I saw my go, who was brilliant and agreed 70 weeks was too long to wait for my

Bleeding after endo surgery
hello everyone, I recently had my second
laparoscopy
on the 27th July and they removed endo, adhesions and scar tissue. I’ve been recovering and the first couple of days I had bleeding which was said to be expected.

Can I opt for a removal of colon stump?
Then, it prolapsed again and was sent to another doctor who fixed the prolapse through
laparoscopy
. I was still incontinent. I actually had to eat foods that constipated me to even be able to make a doctor's appointment without fearing I'd have an unexpected mess.

Joint pain and aches
Hi all, I had a
laparoscopy
last year and was diagnosed with endo. I've always had terrible period pains and in last 5 years or so I've started to have really bad joint pain, mainly around my fingers, wrists, ankles and toes, but sometimes my shoulders and neck hurt too.

Pre-op Assessment
I have what looks like two endometriomas growing on my left ovary and I’m having a
laparoscopy
to have then removed. I just got a letter for a pre-op assessment but I have no surgery date yet. How long after pre-op is surgery usually?

After 6 failed transfers, what next?
Chronic endometritis that we treated before the last fet using two rounds of antibiotics Never done
laparoscopy
Now I'm a tired woman out of options, doesn't know if she should stop trying or she should continue as long as she still produce eggs and blastocysts embryos.
