Bleeding after endo surgery

hello everyone,

I recently had my second laparoscopy on the 27th July and they removed endo, adhesions and scar tissue. I’ve been recovering and the first couple of days I had bleeding which was said to be expected. Yesterday I started bleeding again with the worst pain, I’m still on prostap and my last injection was about a week before I had my surgery, so I thought bleeding wouldn’t be a thing. However, around the end of April I started bleeding as I came towards the end of my injection and was told if it kept happening they’d change me to zoladex.

So the same thing happened in May and June but when I had my last injection they gave me prostap again as I was having surgery so soon after. I am worried and scared about this bleeding because I didn’t have this the first time round. Im constantly exhausted, in so much pain, and really don’t know what to do. I live about two hours from the hospital that did my surgery so I’m cautious that I may need to go back but wanted to check here if anyone had any similar issues.

I am currently off work and will be for another few weeks, it’s so scary because it’s so different to last time. Can anyone help me out in making sense of why my body is doing this to me?

I’ve had the same thing after my lap but I’m on a different medication (progesterone only pill). I was bleeding for two weeks, but then took tranexamic acid for five days and it has stopped and I’m not in pain. My doctor says if the bleeding gets heavy again just take the tranexamic acid (but don’t take it for more than 5 days) xx
