Body pain
I've been gluten-free for nearly 20 years, and lactose-free too (very rarely I eat dairy and take
lactase
enzyme but I don't feel well on it, so most of the time I avoid it). I eat Paleo 95% of the time (I'm only human and fall off the wagon sometimes, but never eat gluten!)

Lactase
has been fully refined and is highly unlikely to contain any traces of gluten but we must label this ingredient as being sourced from a cereal containing gluten and therefore cannot make the claim that it is gluten free, despite being unlikely to contain any traces of gluten.

Lactose and gluten free levothyroxine
I was also thinking about taking
lactase
enzyme to process the levothyroxine tablets and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this or tried it themselves. Many thanks Hazel

I'm not brilliant with lactose so take
lactase
tablets but obviously this doesn't affect casein, which I understand can be detrimental. (I think I probably have answered my own question!!) I would really welcome any thoughts or advice.

need help
I bought his word and took the prescription pill for a year for IBS (Irritable bowl syndrome) and
Lactase
which only helped for food intolerance. I was not content with the results I was getting because I still had odor problem.

The enzymes Rennin and
Lactase
that digest milk are all but gone in humans by the age of three. There is 300% more Casein (a sticky substance) in Cows milk than in human milk. This is meant for the development of huge bones in cows which are large animals weighing 10 times more than humans.

Bloating, Flatulence & Gassiness: The Causes and 4-Step Anti-Gas Relief Plan
All babies have the enzyme necessary to digest milk sugar (
lactase
). Humans can digest lactose when they're young, but many lose this ability as they age. This makes sense: all mammals drink milk from their mother, but then stop as they grow older.

What do high levels of lactase and maltase mean?

Anagrelide and bloating
After seeing haem yesterday they suggested
lactase
as worried I may be intolerant to lactose in anagrelide. Apart from this all good platelets down from 1597 to 524, so don't really want to switch treatment. I would really appreciate any experiences you may have on this

Lactose intolerance
The reason we think that lactose intolerance is relevant is that
lactase
, that helps the body to absorb the lactose in milk / dairy products, is generated in the top part of the stomach which is quite often removed during the surgery.
