Knee replacement surgery and aftercare
I’m having the first of two knee replacements shortly and would be grateful for any advice from others who have had this surgery please. I have lupus SLE and at the moment I am just on Hydroxychloroquine to manage it. Reading stuff online is not helping as it is so alarmist regarding possible issues

Hello all Haven't posted for a while as generally, things OK ish. Had a few ups and downs with the HRT but seems to be good at the moment and overall a benefit to my various UIA related issues. By no means a cure. Still on hydroxyc. which is still keeping the Raynaud's at bay and I do feel fewer flare

HRT/Perimenopause and Thyroxine advice
I had my thyroid removed about three years ago due to Graves Disease and have been just about managing my thyroxine dose since then. I’m in my early 40 s and have noticed that I’m experiencing what I would say are Perimenopause symptoms (although could probably be thyroid related too!!) Poor sleep, change

AF, Warfarin, and Tramadol
I seem to remember when I came round after
knee
replacement
surgery they gave me some sort of liquid morphine but that didn't do anything for pain relief. I'm sure they then gave me Tramadol.

HRT for fibro? Anyone got experience?
I have severe Fibro and have been bed bound for months with that and covid effects. My GP has suggested HRT - I had a hysterectomy in 2004 so well through the menopause without symptoms. My GP has seen great results in another patient and wants me to consider it. I did read a medical study that backed

Lower dose versus lower frequency of Peg Interferon
On the Facebook MPN Interferon forum today, a member posted that he had been on Peg Interferon 45 every two weeks for two years but was having some problems, so was considering taking a break from it. I replied that, if the Peg was actually working for him, then maybe he should consider a lower dose,

Severe knee arthritis
Hi everyone. I have bone on bone compartmental arthritis in both knees and have been told I need total knee replacements. I’m keen to avoid surgery if possible so am researching other ideas. Has anyone tried red light therapy and if so does it provide any pain relief or regeneration of cartilage etc.

64 and having hot flushes
Hello all I have a querie. I am getting hot flushes at 64. Are there many women out there still getting hot flushes at my age? Maybe it's quite common? They are worse than they used to be. They stopped for years when I was taking HRT pills. I started Estrogen cream which has helped a little but I am
