I am 51 years old. I cant stay still because of my legs. No sleep, no rest for my mind. I can barely concentrate on what I'mvwriting right now. I go on walks & bikerides everyday which is very hard cuz I have 5 herniated discs. I am taking magnesium tablets, i only drink water for fear of caffeine

Did anyone watch the program on Channel 4 last night called ‘How safe are your medicines’. It was about vast quantities of stolen medication from hospitals and shipped over to other countries where it was probably sold on the black market. They set themselves up as medical sales people and sold vast

Retired Runners RLS?
Has anyone experienced a serious increase in the restless legs after stopping running? I was a fair-weather runner for 38 years (25-45K/week), stopping due to pre-arthritic hips and knee pain. My 3 middle toes on both feet were also numb for the past 3 years. I’ve missed the endorphins so I’m working

He's a nice chap and sat right next to me to talk which is good. But. He told me what was wrong with me which i knew

May have RLS - Just got ferritin reading
Went to a Pulmonary doctor for another topic, and during discussion, he said I may have RLS. I checked symptoms, and it sounds just like me. Diagnosis is not 'finalized' yet. I just got results back from getting a ferritin reading, and it came back at 15.5. Says it is low, but does not tell me normal

Swelling in the feet and ankles
I was diagnosed with A-fib 2 years ago. Only gone into A-fib twice, that I know of. Lately, I've noticed swelling in my feet and ankles. Is this common? I'm on Flecainide 100mg twice a day and cardizem CD 180mg once a day. I have a doctor's appointment and will certainly bring this up. Just wanted to

thank you.....
Just want to say as a new member that your discussions have been soothing to me--just knowing I am not going crazy, that these ups and downs are common. Do I like it? no, but I can better accept the fact that now my buttocks hurt. It's just one side, which I thought was never PMR, but who knows.

I’m in so much pain still & told the surgery didn’t create a gap between the two bones. I suffer with nerve damage pain

Surely not Augmentation already!
Hi again everyone, I've been on ropinirole now for two weeks and I've gone from being able to sit at work most of the morning/day without standing to work, to some symptoms in the mornings; to yesterday, standing most of the time I was at work! I had RL all afternoon as well and nothing seemed to control

TROUBLE, TROUBLE , TROUBLE.
I have RLS, insomnia ,and several other chronic problems.. I have had several recent sleep studies and I am slated for a c-pap machine. I see a pulmonary sleep specialist . He wants me off the ropinirole and clonazepam I take for RLS , I want to get off them too. He does not give any medication to ease

Tortured by a Butterfly -- Dermatology and extreme sun reactions
Hi Guys, Got my Rheumatology letter yesterday, which threw me in multiple directions (and upset me about the breast explant situation again -- but I'll save that for another day). Because forefront on my mind is my Dermatology appt this afternoon. Yesterday, I provoked 2 bright red, painful burns
