IVIG

Mylo Fibrosis, et al
My Oncologist recently mentioned the possibility of
IVIG
treatments depending on how my Immunoglobulins check out. Sounds like a monthly IV treatment to bolster my Immune System. Does anyone have any experience with
IVIG
, or any other treatments to bolster the Immune System?

alternative therapies
I have also been having regular
IVIG
infusions. I have been contacted by a well meaning friend trying to sell me ASEA, I can not see any medically factual evidence of if this gear works or is it just another dodgey MLM scheme praying on people looking for hope?

Things that made a difference...
I did
IVIG
too. Not sure if it helped, but prednisone certainly muted my immune response and resulted in implantation. 6. A great clinic with excellent embryologists and doctors that believe in you. Don't follow the crowd.

My only PGTA embryo has failed to implant
I had immune treatment this time including
IVIG
and steroids for this transfer due to NK cells and high cytokines. This is our fourth transfer. Our third one did implant in 2021 but had to be terminated as the baby was not going to survive.

Anxiety about all the immune based meds
Recommendations for me are
IVIG
, steroids, clexane, asprin and intramuscular progesterone. I had an array of tests done which showed high NK cells and cytokines and an issue with the blood hence this medley.

Thrombocytopenia?
I think I would like to bring this up with the rheumy and other medics and enquire about
IVIG
. Or, indeed, any other suitable treatments.

Candida with Cellcept
I have been on Cellcept for three months and
IVIG
for 14 months. Today, the inside of my lower lip exploded with white bumps. My research indicates that Candida is common side effect of immune suppression. Any suggestions on how to treat this would be greatly appreciated.

When to give up.....?
I know I have some immune issues and they've tried various options to treat them- prednisole, tacrolimus,
IVIG
, granocyte. How do you decide whether its worth keeping going or time to stop. Any advice or thoughts welcome, I'm so fed up today.

Intralipids and IVIG
So if they don't work I'd end up using
IVIG
anyway which will further delay everything and increase cost! But maybe they will work... I'm finding it really distracting thinking of what to do every single day.

Cerebral syndrome of unknown origin
He tried 4-Aminopyridin, Acetazolamid, Tanganil and
IVIG
-infusions without effect. Under cortisone he had paradox effects where the symptoms twice got better on day 3 of the therapy, but worsened significantly after that and only improved slightly again after weeks.

CAR-T Trial Update #3
I will be resuming my
IVIG
infusions hopefully next week. I had blood work today. My hemoglobin remains low and my neutrophils are .80 (not so terrible). I am told these results are expected at this point. In three months, I will have the all-important bone marrow biopsy.
