delayed period after progynova with cancelled donor embryo transfer
I am hoping to have a donor egg embryo
IVF
soon at a clinic in Spain. The clinic do mock cycles to check how your body responds to the drugs so that they can get the timing right for the real transfer as they do a fresh transfer.

Tests results: MTHFR mutation
So just as a bit of background I'm prepping for my third and final
IVF
cycle next month. After my second cycle failed my consultant recommended a heap of tests to just "cross the ts" and it's taken ages for all the genetic tests to come back.

Endo, Crohn’s and Surgery
During
IVF
I was told I had endometriomas on my left ovary. These have been a nightmare for years now. Every specialist says they would usually remove these surgically but due to my Crohn’s surgeries no one will commit to helping.

IVF strain on relationship - will arguments affect implantation chances?
I have been clashing with my husband alot for the past month. We have had quite a few arguments mainly surrounding me ‘taking this whole thing too seriously’ and him going out without me to clubs and pubs and drinking and coming home late. looking for post surgery pregnancy positivity!
I’m in an absolute state of shock, after surgeon recommended we try for 6 months before commencing
IVF
treatment. It just doesn’t feel real after so many years of trying and not knowing I had endo and adeno. It somehow feels like a prank.

Advice please
Last year I underwent 2nd round of
IVF
, after 5 failed embryo transfers and not being able to conceive naturally anymore as both fallopian tubes removed, and unable to afford further treatment, me and my husband have accepted this fact.

Donor Eggs
I know they have a refund programme for women over 40 for donor
IVF
. I wanted to know if any of you ladies have experience with them and if any good. I’ve read the reviews on Trustpilot and they seem ok.

NHS and Endometriosis both caused me lots of pain and complications
I’ve also had infertility issues for years but NHS Drs told me that nothing was wrong with me so we started
IVF
in a private clinic which costs us thousands of pounds!!!!

”What I wish I had known about IVF”
Hi, the Big Fat Negative podcast duo are hosting an instagram live next Wednesday 31 Jan, 7.30-8.15 pm UK. I find them really relatable and honest about their fertility issues They are co-hosting with independent fertility expert Professor Tim Child who MiniCeeCeeposted about yesterday for his Q&A live

Prednisolone/ corticosteroid prior to IVF & embryo transfer
Therefore, I stopped taking it as we will try an
ivf
treatment in the UK this year. However, I'm curios to hear anyone else's experience with prednisolone to support embryo transfer and implantation. Thank you !

Slow growing blastocysts
hello all, I have a question for any
IVF
ladies out there. Has anyone ever had slow growing, small ( size 1 or 2) or poorer quality blastocysts ( bb bc cb cc etc) on day 5 in a cycle but then gone on to have faster growing, expanded, better quality in the next cycle?

Understanding temps & OvuSense
Hi Everyone, I am on month 3 of temping, I have had 1 ectopic and 2 failed rounds of
IVF
(my diagnosis is unexplained) so we have decided to try naturally for a little while as it was all too much for me! This is my third month temping and using OvuSense.

Surprise pregnancy shock
I had my beautiful little girl in February 2023 via DE
ivf
. She’s the most wonderful little thing in the world and I love her beyond measure. Since having her I’ve had 2 periods, and my 3rd was later than I was expecting so I took a test and I’m so completely shocked to find out I’m pregnant!
