I'm posting because (when I was in the right frame of mind, at least) I found success stories helped me keep going through our pregnancy losses, diagnosis of diminished ovarian reserve and IVF treatments.
My beautiful twins, Ada and Leo, were born on 2nd October and are 7 weeks old today. They were born thanks to a wonderful woman who donated her eggs, allowing our dream of becoming parents to come true.
I know that coming to terms with using donor eggs or sperm can be difficult but personally I have no regrets whatsoever. These babies are mine in every sense that matters and I love them with all my heart.
If anyone has any questions about using donor eggs, you are welcome to send me a message and I'll get back to you when I get a chance. For context, we had our IVF in the UK, with a UK-based donor, and went with a fertility clinic based at a hospital in Leeds.
Sending love and strength to every woman reading this xx

I’ve just had a follow up this morning with the consultant regarding our failed 5th transfer and he is now suggesting we look at donor eggs. I’m 41. Me and hubby had a long chat this morning and think we will look into this option. We manage to get all top-medium quality embryos the last one being 5AB blast and my lining is fine but for some reason they just don’t result in a pregnancy. I had one pregnancy earlier but miscarried at 9 weeks with twins. So I’m like maybe I should try donor eggs now and your post just shows how lovely this journey can be too 🥰 xx
I have had 5 IVF cycles, 4 transfers, 3 BFP, but 2 MC’s & 1 beautiful daughter.
I desperately want another baby & a sibling for my daughter & I think DE is the only way we will achieve this. I am 42 with low AMH, low eggs & poor quality eggs.
Was this your first DE cycle/transfer?
I’ve read it will cost us about £10k for 1 cycle (NI) and wondered how many cycles people usually do with DE. I’m wondering if it’s worth me looking at an option over in England.
Congratulations! 💙🩷 I’ve just had transfer number 5 - first double - with DE. Lovely to read your story and remind me why I am putting myself through this! X
they are absolutely gorgeous. Am a mum of twins as well using DE. It’s a blessing to have them. My little one will be 8 months old on 11th December. Cannot wait to celebrate their first Christmas 🤶🏼
