Ivabradine

I started Ivabradine just under a month ago to slow down a fast heart rate, but I don’t know what to do. It’s not made any difference at all, I still have all the same symptoms as before, but it also makes me feel dizzy and a bit sick feeling.

Has this helped anyone with symptoms- I been advised this could help

Hello does anybody have any experience with Ivabradine? Did it help? Does it make you feel better? My private consultant has advise that could help me?

The pharmacist said it could cause low blood pressure and dizziness, which I’m a bit worried about since I have been moved to this from Ivabradine as I was getting dizziness from that. I have a persistently fast heart rate and yet to find something to slow it down!

Ivabradine 5mg Dapagliflozine 10mg Eplerone. 25mg. Does anybody else experience this . I get the urge to cough and occasionally spit up phlegm. I look forward to any comments. Thankyou. .

I have been prescribed Ivabradine. I have tried many medications in the past but they either dont work or the side affects are bad. What are peoples experiences with this drug. Thanks

I was just doing a short bike session - I get a fast heart rate from doing very little and have been taking Ivabradine for a couple of weeks. I haven’t really noticed any changes with it yet, so I thought I would test out some exercise.

At my post-op check up, I was prescribed ivabradine to ‘try’ if I wanted to, my decision entirely. Has anyone else tried ivabradine for IST and if so, what was your experience on it like? Thank you!

I went to the Brompton on 30th May for a routine heart ablation which sadly went wrong, I was not told I could have a bleed in the heart and this happened thankfully 36 hours after the procedure I was unwell and due to drug allergies I was still in hospital trailing Ivabradine therefore thankfully here

All vitals OK Doctor has advised me to use Ivabradine 2.5 mg to avoid straining my heart. But I dont feel like taking it as i also have anxiety. Has someone experienced it?

They had decided to try Ivabradine for a few months to see how it goes. Up until now I’ve been taking propranolol but it makes me quite tired. Does anyone have any experience with it?

Now I am looking at another ablation and am also on Ivabradine from Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia after the ablation. It just feels a bit defeating. Interventions are not without risk, but there is also plenty of risk with such a high burden of ectopy, and I won't try any more meds...
