Ivabradine

Hello does anybody have any experience with Ivabradine? Did it help? Does it make you feel better? My private consultant has advise that could help me? I found out why the nhs concealed my heart findings now - they thought it was caused by a medication they prescribed me - but it was actually caused by my cardiac displacement - if they had investigated they would have seen its Congenital and they can't be sued for Congenital- but they thought the meds had caused it so concealed it - I would call this the motive - I had my cpet test and I stil haven't recovered infarct each day I'm getting worse- I can't get the results until iv finished paying - so hopefully finished paying by November so I can get the results then - on benefits so it's hard to find the money - my Christmas gift to myself. I need to get better my family need me

Effect on me was to slow my heart to 36 took weeks before it was accepted as the cause.

No 24 hour observation needed in case heart stopped !

I was changed to that from bisoprolol to help with fatigue but it didn't make the slightest difference and after 12 months I went back to bisoprolol.

Okay il remember that one and if ibdont get on with Ivabradine I will ask of I can have try that one. Thank you

Being put on Ivabradine was the best thing that happened to me... I went on it in 2014 before this i was exhausted, i was sick my heart rate would spike into the 180s, i put on so much weight because any exercise just made it worse they were looking at giving me surgery because i was so symptomatic and my quality of life was decreasing.

After a few weeks of being on Ivabradine i felt like a completely different person, it gave me a new lease of life completely, I did HIIT workouts, i had a normal life again. The only downsides were it affected light some how, lights were much brighter but ive only noticed the difference now im off it. And you cant have Grapefruit- but thats similar for most meds.

My symptoms eventually came back but not until 2021 and this was because i really did need surgery no medication could have stopped that.

I came off Ivabradine last July, because i knew i was going to try for a baby and i haven't had any issues coming off it.

Basically, Ivabradine gave me years of normality and feeling a million times better, it was one consultant who suggested i try it, and ill always be grateful that they did
