I’m sorry I have posted quite a few times in the last few weeks. I started Ivabradine just under a month ago to slow down a fast heart rate, but I don’t know what to do. It’s not made any difference at all, I still have all the same symptoms as before, but it also makes me feel dizzy and a bit sick feeling. My heart rate is all over the place, up to 150bpm from going up the stairs in the house or doing something simple like cleaning the kitchen or cooking, showering etc.. and if I exercise it goes even higher 170/180bpm straight away and I have to limit myself as my chest gets tight feeling. I’m so fed up and frustrated feeling like this. I know it’s a minor problem in the grand scheme of things but I just want to feel better. I am worried about contacting the cardiologist again as I don’t want to look like I’m making a fuss but I’m just miserable. I don’t have a follow up appointment for another 3 months and I really don’t want to have 3 more months of feeling like this. I’ll probably end up just not taking the medication if that was the case which defeats the purpose of trying to get help in the first place. I just don’t know what the best thing to do is 😔

I wouldn’t feel bad about contacting your cardiologist. He’s prescribed something that he presumed would work, and you have data that suggests it’s not.

Keep courage. They’ll get to the bottom of it.

Thank you for responding, I was feeling quite hopeless last night when posting. I'll get in contact with them and explain what I'm feeling. Hopefully they are understanding about it!
