Between 2 appointments, frustration building!
I’ve met a professor of ICC Adult Consultant Cardiology after an echocardiogram where I noted my heart rate was 49-51. Then the ECG took longer as it needed more time to record my heartbeats. Then I get told I’ve got Long QT, not channelopathy. Amiodarone doesn’t help that or me & the bisoprolol needs

Constant pain but GP says live with it!
I’m sorry to post again but I’m at the end of my tether! I’m going to give a list of symptoms and please let me know what you think as GP has said investigations show nothing so live with the pain. I’ve always had had very heavy, painful periods but my mother told me not to be a baby so I thought it

after baby pain
hi guys, just wondering if anyone's had a similar experience post baby. he's 12 weeks old now and in that time I've had 2 periods that have been awful, I feel a bit blindsighted as all the Drs said the pain would be better after having him. I feel like I was on a rollercoaster trying to conceive, then

Vitex and Myo inositol
Hi I have SLE over the past 9 years. I have PCOD and hormonal imbalance. I am trying to conceive for the past 3 years. But all the treatments failed. I tried IUI also. Now I am planning to take vitex and Myo Inositol supplements to cure hormonal imbalance. Is it good or bad to try them with lupus?

Treatment?
I had my first hospital apt today. I left feeling quite confused. She did an internal exam but other than saying ‘I was not expecting that’ didn’t give much away!?. The Dr offered me the coil, mini pill or a laparoscopy. But said it was all my decision. I’m not keen on hormonal treatment due to bad experiences

The 1 follicle was empty :( Anyone heard of a time IUI worked following this?
Hi Everyone,Gosh this just gets harder sometimes! Although there was only 1 follicle this ivf cycle we decided to go through with egg collection as the doctor said my estrogen was increasing nicely so very likely an egg. Last cycle we only had two follicles and two eggs were retrieved and both fertilised

Symptoms of Endo
When considering the symptoms of endo the first thing that springs to mind is that they are seemingly infinitely diverse such that no one woman experiences the same as another, and many peculiar symptoms that are clearly shared by members on groups such as this might not even be documented anywhere in

Should I go to the GP?
I was diagnosed with endometriosis on 10/10/19 via laparoscopy, and had an excision. I also had the Kyleena coil fitted whilst I was under general anaesthetic. Recovery was fine, the first week was very painful, but by the second it had calmed down and I was just tired. It’s now been just over 4 weeks

Driving License Revoked because of ICD implantation ... is that normal?
I had my CRT-D fitted 4 weeks ago. The ICD part as a precaution. No one in my medical team warned me that this could stop me driving - just that I had to inform DVLA. Imagine my shock this morning to receive a letter saying my licence has been revoked and I can’t reapply for at least 6 months!! Has

Insurance denials
Can anyone advise me as to how to get insurance approval for a ganglion impar block? My husband is completely debilitated with excruciating anal/rectal pain that began 20 months ago. After months of agony, visits to multiple specialists, trying lidocaine, Valium suppositories, nifedipine, hydrocortisone

TAVI aortic valve replacement
My husband underwent a successful operation this week at the new Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge. I was amazed when he was allowed home 24 hrs after the op. Although he said it was an ordeal and he is now in some discomfort from the TAVI site in his groin, he is doing well. He had a triple bypass

Lizinna pill any good for Endo?
So my current pill was making me bleed constantly and so we've upped the dosage - lizinna. Wondering if anyone has had any experience with this pill? They said to me if this doesn't work then I will have to consider the coil which I DO NOT want because it genuinely stresses me out and I really need method

What’s the best contraception to use for those with PCOS.?
I have been taking the pill for 3/4 months. I have noticed I am feeling more anxious, worried etc over tiny things. I stopped taking the pill years ago and have been lucky to have had two babies. Now I’m back taking contraception but feel like I’m on edge and snappy all the time. What is good for balancing
