ttc for stage 2 endo

I had laparoscopy about 4 months ago. My obgyn excised 4cm chocolate cyst on my right ovary, and take care the adhesion and endometrial lesions on my left ovary with ablation.

I am trying to get pregnant. My obgyn recommend IVF.

Maybe i'm being unreasonable. But i wonder, is there anyone with similar condition with me able to get pregnant naturally or by IUI?

I had stage 4 endo when I conceived with a 10cm cyst on my right ovary- endo doesn’t make it impossible just harder. It took us 2.5 years and I also had a failed ivf cycle in between that. IUI wasn’t recommended as the consultant said it was the same as having sex at right time?

Remember ivf isn’t always guaranteed either and we forget that, my negative cycle was really devastating.

Thanks for reply.

We've been trying for more than 4 years now.

My obgyn also said iui only increased 5% chance of pregnancy. Guess it's really not a good option then..
