Coil plastic no period at all

I put my coil plastic now is 3 years i dont have period not all is normal?

So you had the hormonal coil put in, the one not made of copper?

If so, yes, this is perfectly normal. I got mine specifically because not having a period was a side effect; it's useful if, like me, you have very painful period. Please do not worry, having no period whilst on the hormonal/plastic coil is absolutely okay.

So the hormone stops the build up of the lining of the womb, which is what causes you to bleed during your period. For some people, this build up stops completely. Your body just doesn't make it.

You can't store something you haven't actually made.

It also thickens the cervix's mucous plug, which makes it harder for sperm to pass through. This is how it prevents pregnancy.

Once your coil is removed, your body goes pretty much back to the way it was before the coil was inserted, unless you have another one put straight back in.

I promise, you not having periods is normal and perfectly okay.

If you mean Mirena IUS then yes this is normal
