Heart Monitor with Alarm
Is there such a thing as a heart rate monitor with an alarm if heart rate rises or falls. I have brugada syndrome with NO ICD fitted and my wife thinks some form off monitor would be reassuring for her and me.

Hello, I'm new here :) I'm looking to see if anyone has similar pain. My pain is very regular 2 days after bleeding stops and always in the same place (pain feels around 3cm big), bottom right abdomen. The pain is very strong dull ache which can last hours if I don't take pain killers. What's quite

Kirk to Enterprise - I have a communicator
I've just been back to Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital yesterday after having my ICD implanted on 19th August for an initial check to see that everything is OK and to be given my home monitor, which on the box declares itself to be a communicator, hence the title of this post. All went well, the nurses

Sex after laparoscopy
I was just wondering how people got back into having sex after their laps and how you felt about it. I’ve always had a really high libido and enjoy sex quite often (even though I often experience pain after and sometimes during). It’s only been just over a week since my lap (endo diagnosed and removed

Hi all. I had a scratch done on Friday. I was told spotting would be normal for a few days. The spotting is still continuing. Has this happened to anyone else? I’m due to stop taking the pill tomorrow. Did anyone’s go from spotting and the straight into a normal period after stopping the pill? Also

Reflections on Patient’s Day, Birmingham, 2019, a very personal overview.
Warning:- some material contains a portion of personal ranting on outdated NHS protocols so some readers may need to look away at that point. I thought a post may help me to digest the day if I posted a short(ish?) impression for those who may be thinking of attending future events or of what goes on

Does it ever get any easier?
Hi guys, So I’ve posted on here before in regards to pain, treatment and generally feeling quite down in relation to this whole endometriosis saga! I won’t get into the back story but I’ll give a little oversight in relation to recent events. I was based in London and ended up having the most amazing

Hi all, I have grade 4 very severe endometriosis. I have had multiple surgeries to remove it, including bowel, bladder and JJ stents. I was on proatap 3 injections for 7 YEARS until this January 2019 and also had mirena coil. I stopped my prostap injections, removed my coil and my periods came back

Does your pain make you physically sick?
Evening Ladies, I'm in absolute agony tonight all across my lower back, deep in my pelvis and its shooting down my legs. I can barely walk. The pain is making me sick and trying to keep painkillers down is a mission. I still haven't been diagnosed but end of june I had my uterus, bowel and side wall

Constant bleeding on pill?
I was instructed to go back on the pill Rigevidon about 4 months ago due to breakthrough bleeding and constant pain. The first two months I had no bleeding and minimum pain, after that the pain was back and now I’ve been bleeding every day for the last month and a half with migraines and pain. I went

Post-Menopausal bleeding
Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and just wondered whether anyone had similar symptoms to me and what the outcome was? I am 51 years old and had my last period 18 months ago. Prior to this I'd had irregular and heavy bleeding for 4 months. I was diagnosed with fibroids and the consultant found that

Struggling with failed treatments 😪
Well am a 42 year old woman, who had ached for a baby since I was in my 20’s. I was girl who wanted the family, but it’s all my friends who have it, and I don’t 😪 I wanted a baby so much that when I was single, I had 6 IUI cycles. Friends I knew who had success stories, give me massive hope, it would
