Medication
So, today I've just been described
isotretinoin
(roaccutane) 20mg. Is that a high dosage? I kind of know what side affects to expect but now I have the meds I'm nervous. Has anyone got any advice for what I'm going to experience?

Opinions on Isotretinoin
Hi I'm new on here due to my dermatologist asking me to do my own research into this drug. Ive read the info from the nhs and have taken in the possible side effects. The consultant did explain that this was quite a big step up from the doxycycline I have been taking, which hasn't touched the adult acne

Just wondering if any of you have ever taken accutane/roaccutane/

Know the Difference Between Hormonal Acne and Cystic Acne
Other than hormone balancing pills, therefore, you may be prescribed with prescription-only
isotretinoin
and steroids.
Difference No. 5:
Both types of acne require a change in lifestyle though it may take cystic acne much longer to correct.

Is isotretinoin worth is to cure my acne?
They recently referred me to a dermatologist, who suggested I start taking
isotretinoin
tablets. I've done a whole heap of research into the drug, and am honestly so scared of the side effects that could happen, but I feel like I've tried everything else and this is my last option.

Overexercising and hypothyroidism
P.S I've been on
Isotretinoin
for a month and I stopped it because of extreme constipation (sorry for the details) and alarmingly rapid weight gain.
