Hi all. If you read my previous posts you'll be able to see I've had bowel problems for years, but a bit of background. I'm female, 25 from Scotland. I have IBS-C, been getting gradually worse. I'm currently taking 290mg Constella. I have debilitating pain with bowel movements, blood and mucus in stools

As I said in my comments in my introduction, I am due to be assessed at cardiology unit after developing Stable Angina symptoms while in hospital for a Spinal Decompression on the 28th February, over 4 weeks ago. Since the operation I cant walk or climb stairs normally without inducing chest, neck,

Advice please
Two weeks ago i experienced a feeling of an elephant sitting on my chest for an hour. I had pain round my ribs and to my back and a little up to my jaw. I have never experienced anything like this before. I was abroad at the time and didn’t seek medical help then. As soon as I got back to the UK I went

Shell shocked
Just had an angiogram, been listed for stents. Additional medications amlodipine and clopidogrel. I have had GTN spray since December. Feels like I'm waiting for a heart attack. Looks like I will not get stents for another 6 weeks. I'm a bit scared, not seen consultant just his assistant and a letter

Up-date re holiday & meds post HA
Hi All - I am back from a week's holiday in France which I took 2.5 weeks post HA. It was more than manageable, the main impact being extra cost of insurance & taxis instead of public transport on the outward journey. Used public transport on the return leg OK. Had one blip when thought I had an angina

MVA short term relief?
I'm just past my 1 year anniversary of having stents fitted for a couple of blocked arteries. Over that past year I've had a number of chest pain episodes that have until recently been dismissed as imaginary (as cardio rehab nurses referred me to the psychologists on the back of my pain history report

Pericarditis
? Pericarditis Hello everyone! Just thought I would see if anyone has had a similar experience. I had an Ablation for Atrial Flutter on Valentine’s Day! All went well until I my chest started aching. My GP thought it was Angina and gave me a GTN spray. Two days later I thought I was having a heart attack
