My body did not get the memo.
I accept that a test had been done measuring the amount of Hydroxocobalamin and Cynocabalamin that can be measured in the urine at different times after the injection and that the numbers are likely repeatable. I do not know if any testing was done on a subject that was B12 deficient. I find it unlikely

Getting myself in a hell of a muddle!
With low Hb and MCV, a normal ferritin in the presence of inflammatory changes does not exclude
iron
deficiency. I was then told my levels were too low/high and to reduce to 100.

Advice please
Your results indicate that this is unlikely to be related to low levels of
iron
, vitamin B12 or folate. The best course of action is to discuss these results with your doctor. Please check test-specific details below as there may be important additional information.

Ferritin test
I have had an
iron
panel about a year and half ago which was all normal but a ferritin level was not included. I have been supplementing for a year and a half (self-injecting) and have not seen any improvement in my spine pain...in fact, it has gotten worse.

Iron Info Heme vs Non Heme
So, Heme
iron
is from animal sources and is apparently better absorbed than non Heme
iron
(from plant sources). The two different
iron
types are absorbed by different pathways. But, there are real risks in supplementing with Heme
iron
- Coronary Artery disease and Cancer incidence increases.

An article on nutrition and aging.
"As for the popular saying, 'Do not even try meat,' it is not sound, since red meat and fish, including oily fish, are rich in protein and vitamin B as well as
iron
and, therefore, are necessary. "As always, it is the amount that should be limited, especially red meat, not so much oily fish.

Milestones.
Seems to me that my milestones associated with my cobalamin issues tend to be known to me only in hindsight. I thought about it and came to understand that is the way most milestones actually happen and it is only in hindsight and my narrative of the past that milestones become apparent. I need to

Taper out T3-medication?
My ferritin is still at 19 (
iron
has dropped too), although I have been supplementing
iron
for months and also eat red meat, liver, broccoli etc everyday. I even take HCl to support secretion of acid in the stomach.

Advice on test results please
Ferritin 94.9 ug/L (13 - 150) - have been taking 2 x Solgar gentle
iron
20mg for quite a while now, but has still dropped from last test. I will post separate
iron
test results. Folate - Serum 13.77 ug/L (> 3.89) - this is finally coming up!

Damage to receptors? Berberine? Iron type? Three questions.
Third question: regarding
iron
, I’m taking heme
iron
capsules every other night. Should I take a different type of
iron
(
iron
bisglycinate?) at night for immediate help with symptoms? Thank you to anyone who answers.

Seeking more vitamin advice please
If so, I know Thorne Basic B is recommended here but I can’t be doing with big capsules, so I thought I saw some smaller (B complex) tablets recommended a few weeks back but didn’t jot down the name. 3) Ferritin came back high in July, GP did full
iron
panel and all came back normal.
