Recently diagnosed, WBC numbers stable but RBC/HGB trending down
My platelets are fine and my oncologist said that since my blood cell size is normal this is not related to
iron
deficiency. So my concern is that my marrow is already having trouble keeping up with normal production. Could that be right even with my relatively low WBC numbers?

Amgevita - low energy
I've emailed the hospital today to ask if it might be chronic illness anaemia or due to
iron
deficiency, just waiting to hear back from them. I'm tempted to just go and get some Feroglobin
iron
capsules as this fatigue isn't much fun. Appreciate any advice.

New results for my Daughter 3 months on
I've also included the
Iron
Panel results she had recently in case these can be re-interpreted. Particularly the TIBC and UIBC which are out of range. SeasideSusie has commented on the general

Iron panel results - is this normal or something to be concerned about?
I haven't been taking any
iron
supplementation for a while. I tested because I've been ill (chronic urticaria) and haven't been able to tolerate
iron
supplements. Fasted over 12 hours beforehand, didn't take anything with biotin for over 10 days.

Could Someone Explain The TTGIgA Test Please?
I have recently had some blood tests done due to low vitamin B12 and long term issues with
iron
deficiency.

Dr appr tomorrow
With a ferritin level of 39, as well as all other
iron
levels well below “normal”, perhaps he will offer better options than the nurse practitioner, as well as offer me options on medication for insomnia.

Lupus or another Autoimmune Disease?
I’m 50 yr old female with issues, RLS, Hashimotos, Autoimmune Atrophic Chronic Gastritis, intestinal Metaplasia,
Iron
Deficiency Anemia w/transfusions, B12 deficiency, and now this horrible hip and joint pain. I know if you have one Autoimmune Disease you’re likely to have more.

The Next Step
Do I insist on referral for
iron
infusion ? I am considering asking for a private referral to a neurologist but need to manage my RLS in the meantime. Sorry for the ramble but any suggestions gratefully received.

success with Threearrows - for anyone struggling with LOW IRON/FERRITIN
After 6 months I am finally seeing some progress with my
iron
panel! I spent 3 months on 4 ferrous gluconate tablets a day and my ferritin, saturation and
iron
barely budged. In fact, my serum
iron
actually decreased.

Gluten/Dairy restriction, can it really affect your blood results in a short time?
I am going to do another private test soon with T4 and T3 and B12/
iron
/vit d to check these.

I will also take
iron
tablets, with orange juice, an hour before breakfast so on an empty stomach, then I can take my calcium tablets mid morning without them interfering with the
iron
absorption, is that correct?

3 Arrows Heme dose & Raising T3 - how long might it take?!
Medichecks recommendation is this: "You continue to have slightly low transferrin, however, as your ferritin level is normal this suggests healthy
iron
stores. I recommend optimising your dietary
iron
intake to prevent your stores becoming depleted." 2 questions: 1.
