Hi guys, I got circumcised about 5 weeks ago now and I am starting to get really worried about the cosmetic result. Doc initially told me not to judge the result for 3 months.
There is a section near the frenulum where the skin seems to be bunched up. and It looks like there was too much skin left over and he's pulled it all into one section. It doesn't look like something that will fix itself and he told me it may not completely smooth out like the rest but he doesn't seem to be concerned.
He also left the frenulum connected which I didn't think was going to be the case.
Just wondering if anyone has had anything similar and if the skin will iron out eventually.

From what I've read and the reports from guys here, the fren is the last part to reduce in swelling and to heal post op and I think your surgeon is telling you to be patient by giving you three months. Most guys report that it takes 6 months to a year for the "cosmetic" effects to settle down. For some men it is longer - up to 2 years - for the surgery scar to fade and flesh tone to even out.
Try and relax and let the healing take its course. You have had invasive surgery and the body is still healing on the inside and on the outside.
If after 3 to 6 months the look of things is still concerning you, you could then seek further advice from the surgeon on a way forward.
what Timthemoth just said! It takes a while - trouble is we guys are quite emotionally attached our cocks and we want it perfect now. It takes a while.
I think three weeks after my surgery I could start to see what it might look like… but I suspect it was 6/9 months before I’d say it was probably healed and looked as awesome as it does today. Calm down buddy - it’ll be OK and you’ll love it!
Forget about cosmetics. If u r hard, u would enjoy and can satisfy anyone. If it is beautiful and not able to satisfy her its good for nothing. If ur penis is hard and u have control over Ejeculation everyone who u fuck woud love ur penis
Be thankful that, after healing, you will have a penis that is fully functional. Slight imperfections or differences in your penis should be of little concern unless you are a penis model.
if the circumcision has resolved your balanitis then it has done its job. If you get too concerned about its appearance now then you could store up for yourself future problems of a psychological nature.
The area where my frenulum was removed was still swollen three months after I was circumcised. It looked like a trench had been dug where it was cut out. It was well over six months until it started to look decent. You just have to wait. Don’t stress.
I agree with most replies here. 5 weeks is a little soon to judge what the final result is going to look like. My 'cut line' was pretty jagged for the first few months, but when the swelling came down, it was straight as an arrow. For me, it was at least a year when I noticed the scar line fading and smoothing out. Now, after 2.5 years the scar line is almost disappeared. The only thing left is the 2 tone appearance. I would not worry too much about the frenulum. It is the least visible, unless you are standing at attention. But even then it should be pretty smooth.
I was done nearly twenty years ago, even though I would’ve liked a bit more skin off I’m quite happy with my circumcision I am thinking about getting it neatens up also when I was done he removed my frenulum as with the others it does take awhile but you’ll be ok
it took me over a year to go back to normal. I also had my frendulum removed. Had high scar lines and bumps where stitches and foreskin was cut looks great now other than a crooked cut line.
