Low Energy

hey all, I completed my C25K last October and felt great 😊 however, it was short lived as in December, I found my iron levels were very low and so made it impossible for me to run, my iron levels are now back to a normal level so rather than diving back in to a 30 min run, I have started the C25K again, I’m hoping the spring in my step will still be there but who knows, wish me luck 😊

Good luck, I'm on a restart too, quite a few people do it over following an absence

I found out my iron levels were very low in February, …. I wondered why my running was getting slower and slower! I was also getting out of breath walking up one flight of stairs!

Anyway, taking iron supplements, and started running again last week! Good luck!

You have done the right thing by starting at the beginning. I’m sure you will soon feel like you are making progress again. 😀

I contemplated just going out and having a run but thought better of it, best to start again and build it up slowly, it’s my race isn’t it 😊

I’ve started up twice now and the second time was a lot easier! As long as you’ve got your energy back you’ll enjoy it!

Good luck! It’s a great programme and you’ll have so much to celebrate along the way. Knowing you can do it should give you a real confidence boost. Can’t wait to hear about your runs. ❤️🏃‍♀️
