I am looking to have blood tests for my diabetes as a matter of course and I plan at that time to have
iron
and ferritin levels checked also. I'll update again in due course.

Blood test results Vitamins / Digestive problems
I was reading about dietary
iron
. One suggestion was to cook in a cast
iron
pan ! I’m confused about some foods which appear to be both high in
iron
but also inhibit
iron
absorption. Things like broccoli and nuts. Are they recommended or not ? My diet is extremely high in dairy.

doctor who treats with i/v iron first?
Thank you to everyone who provides information here all the time, I appreciate it so much - if not for this forum and help of several members, I wouldn't know that i/v
iron
was an option.

Symptoms suddenly taking a turn for the worse
When should I start to feel better from taking more
iron
? Is 4 weeks too optimistic? 2. What should you do once your
iron
levels reach the required amount? Continue taking the product, but, say, every 3 or 4 days instead of every 2 days?

Starting B12 injections, how often?
I started on
iron
and folate tablets a week ago. What I'm wondering is how often should I be getting the B12 injection after the first one? (I am in Ireland). Thank you

racing pulse
I’m going to start three arrows
iron
could it be related to low ferritin? I’m assuming it’s going to settle as my body settles with Erfa. I’ve been on it 7/8 weeks now. Just wondered have others had this and has it settled? My resting pulse is usually 55-60.

Iron, estrogen & RLS
I think there is some correlation between high estrogen and high
iron
. My serum
iron
level is fairly high (155), while my ferritin is fairly low (51). Because of my high
iron
, my
iron
saturation is faily high (46%).

Recommendations for Iron panel?
Hello, Does anyone use an
Iron
Panel test which they can recommend? We have used Medichecks but got in such a pickle with the ferritin ranges/versus NHS ferritin range and results that I am looking for another company. Or to be honest it may have just been me who couldn't work it out.

Recent blood test – Why do I feel so tired?
I've been supplementing high-dose vitamin D, methyl-B12,
iron
and methyl-folate. My folate level doesn't seem to go up even though I'm taking 15,000 mcg tablets. I've had folate deficiency anaemia in the past.

results advice for my daughter please
Her folate is finally improving a little but even with supplements we are struggling on getting her
iron
and vitamin d to increase much, another issue is her cholesterol has now shot up to 6 which they’ve said needs immediate action but we aware this is probably due to her thyroid.

As I understand my vit d, b12,
iron
and folate need to be optimum? In what time do you raise and retest again? I’m assuming that 1.5 was my dose and that I went too high too fast. Appreciate any insights.
