Interesting update for those in the UK whose GP practice has Buprenorphine red listed
He advised an
iron
infusion in the event the trial was unsuccessful, but mentioned that, in his experience, the effects of an infusion might last anything from a few weeks to several months.

Just a Ropinerol update
I had my bloods doneand my ferritin level was pretty low, so my GP has started me on
iron
. I'm also taking magnesium too. I've found having an electric blanket really helpful. It seems to be relaxing to my nerves. I'm starting to jerk a bit now throughout the day.

iron low reason ?
Hi all I saw my Gp again regarding the ferritin I’m on and it’s a low dose and I’m only little bit low in
iron
but now he wants to check if I’m bleeding anywhere ? So I have to do a home poo test to rule anything else lout ! But of course I’m worried sick now 😩

I used nystatin and it didn't clear so it was only this week I went back and saw a GP rather than advanced practitioner and she says Leukoplakia and to have vitamins, blood, folate, and
iron
tested!

What now, totally lost and scared
Maybe this is a low
iron
problem? - I've been
iron
deficient all my life it seems looking at my history since childhood. Maybe it's a vestibular problem - still waiting to see ENT. 1. Can you overdose B12 in injections if you really don't need any more? Could I harm myself? 2.

Less symptoms but still RLS sleep issues
To my knowledge both can inhibit the uptake of
iron
and I also suspect that I was low on Vitamin D. When my RLS was diagnosed my
iron
levels were also low (about 50).

iron infusion
I hear bad stories about
iron
infusions and allergic reactions. What happens if you get an allergic reaction and once you recover, do you feel better for having had the

Trying hard to be healthy take D3 and
iron
which is prescribed. Also a probiotic. Also my crazy face swellings which I've posted about before have also flared up this week. I take constant fexofenadine for that. TIA. Fiona

First time posting here with questions
I see an endocrinologist privately who treats my Hashi's and he recommended
iron
infusions but I can't get it ordered under my insurance because my blood counts and hemoglobin are in the normal range.

SlowDragon please comment on my situation if you're around.
I'm concerned that it's not my thyroid but
iron
and different nutrients. I just received Paul Robinson's book Recovering with T3. In it he takes supplements with every meal. I don't get it. Aren't you supposed to not take calcium, etc., close to your thyroid dosing? He is on T3 only.

Reassurance about taking T3 during pregnancy
I’m also taking Three Arrows
iron
supplement as my
iron
was a bit low. (In addition to b complex, vit d and folate). Other levels are generally ok.

RLS: nutrition matters, n = 1
I spent 6 weeks on a carnivore diet, feeling GREAT, which probably had the most effect by significantly raising my historically dismal ferritin and
iron
levels. Began tapering my meds after the first two weeks and was 100% drug free before the 6 weeks were up.

How to get help when my results are in range?
I have been taking
iron
and have managed to get my ferritin levels up to 75 finally (ferritin has always been quite low in range). I am struggling with low energy and mood, weight gain, puffy face/eyes and sluggish metabolism. I monitor my thyroid after having thyroiditis a few years back.

I’ve become unwell this year with new and different symptoms, tests ongoing but high cholesterol , celiac negative,
iron

TSH levels lowered after iodine spike - advice on next steps needed
Just to state I have had various blood tests and they are all optimal (cholestral, Vitamin D,
Iron
, Vitamin B's, Ferretin, anemia and many more) I am vegetarian and always have been, but I approach every meal as a science experiment so haven't had any deficiencies.
