Sorry can’t help you with your query as never need to add iron. I load iron and regularly need to have it removed via venesection. This a group for folk diagnosed with haemochromotosis an iron overload genetic disorder. Although we can become anemic if too much blood is removed it is not generally a problem enough to require infusions of iron.
Try searching again for anemia or the NHS website.

If you need an iron infusion, you’re probably asking the wrong people.
