Good news - different injector - no blood shot eyes!
I also have the alternative to
iodine
. I walked out and continued the rest of the day with no discomfort, no pain , no painkillers and needed very few eye drops . If there was a star system for injectors she would get a full five stars!

Shoulder pains?
Hey ladies, does anyone else suffer with bad shoulder and arm pain due to their endo? Since yesterday my right shoulder radiating all the way down my arm to my hand, it’s hurting so much. Like a deep dull growing pain, similar to the pains I get in my pelvis and thighs. Does anyone else differ with this

Sublinical Hypothyroidism?
I realised my lack of
iodine
in my diet could have caused this. I gave up milk a few years ago as this started to cause me upset stomach as well as bad acid reflux. I don't eat much fish or seaweed etc. so its very rare I will have enough
iodine
per day.

SSRI toxicity on thyroid ?
I've read that SSRIs contain halogen atoms that can substitute for
Iodine
(itself an halogen), making thyroid hormones inefficient. Will it show on the biology (normal T3 and T4 and higher TSH because it will not slow TSH secretion) ? I can't find anything online...

Anyone know what blood test this will contain?
Recently my endo asked my gp to test my bloods for TSH, Ft3 and fT4 as well as coeliac and parietal antibodies. GP put this test through: (TF3) TFT3: Hyperthyroid on treatment/T3 I am not hyperthyroid on treatment. I am post RAI for graves hypothyroid. And I wasn’t sure whether this includes TSH

The ABC of Disease book by Philip Day
He recommends, for hypo, taking Lugo's
Iodine
(self medicating before having to resort to thyroxine) - has anyone tried this? His advice on diet & supplements is also very helpful.

iodine deficiency and hashimoto endocrine cancer
I have hashimoto and
iodine
deficiency. I developed diarrhea and pain in my throat and chest when eating. My 24hr urine test 5hydroxy HIAA was positive. This can indicate neuroendocrine carcinoma.

Post Lobectomy
Hi all, I had a right lower open surgery lobectomy last July and fortunately advised they removed the mass completely and no further treatment required. It was found to be non-small-cell lung cancer – squamous cell carcinoma. I have since had several scans due to chest infections and a cough which does

Advice please
Hello I have been taking Pregabalin 150 mg and codeine 60mg for some time now and it is no longer effective. My Neurologist wants me to go back on to Pramipexole which I have taken in the past before I had augmented and came off the drug. My neurologist wants me to start on a low dosage of pramipexole

Pain meds after D&C?
Hi all, I've just had a second miscarriage which required a D&C at 9 weeks last week. It's a heartbreaking experience and I'm off of work for two weeks. They've also removed a growth from my cervix at the same time. I'm also on really strong pain meds now (30g codeine, sleeping tablets, herbal anxiety

Hi guys, I've been waiting for a lap since the end of 2019, still nothing and the pain is getting unbearable. Gabapentin/Pregabalin - Who is actually finding this helps their RLS?
There has been a lot of advice on this Forum about A2B Ligands being first line of treatment (?) and I was thinking there must be a lot of people out there who were advised to come off DA's (slowly) and go onto these Ligands. Then I am reading a lot of posts of people whereby these Ligands stop working

Dealing with pain and fatigue
Hi, Does anyone have any tips for pain or fatigue? My endo is back with a vengeance. I need more surgery but I am avoiding it. I used to be on 60 mg codeine but found it unbearable due to the side effects. It affected my cognitive ability which I need as I am a senior manager. I also have 2 children

Covid Vaccine, medical conditions and allergies
I was just wondering whether anyone has taken any of the vaccines? Although I work within a hospital setting where some of my colleagues have already received it, had been sent a text by my GP stating I should book and appointment and now furloughed, I really do not wish to take it due to my allergies
