I am a bit lost about what do to/try next. I feel I am suffering with lots of hypo symptoms, puffy, heavy eyes, blurry vision, light sensitive, horrible dizziness, constipation, fatigue, brain fog etc. I am at home on my own (mon-fri) with a 2 year old and a new born old which feels pretty tough going.
I was thinking to test iron again but stopping the supplements 7 days before hand, but stopping made me feel worse after a couple of days so I have started again.
Am I right in thinking non of those but levels look that bad? Where do I go from here?
I have an app with my GP in two weeks, I am planning to ask for a referral to an endo to try T3 - good plan?
I had Graves disease which was treated with RAI in 2007, I no longer have Graves antibodies as they were tested in both my pregnancies .
Thanks for taking the time to read!

Referral to Endo would be good. Try to go to one who is T3 friendly. I got referred to an Endo but asked to be allowed to see a different one in the same practice and they were ok with it. How much Levo are you taking? I've restarted taking selenium and I read on here it helps conversion.
I would definitely get an appointment with your optician to check your eyes. I have mild TED and know that blurriness, light sensitivity and puffiness can be thyroid linked. It’s important to supplement with Selenium if your eyes are affected. Eye drops are also very useful to alleviate dryness- but make sure they contain no preservatives (HycoSan andHyloforte are both good). I hope your symptoms improve soon!
Opticians can refer you to a specialist ophthalmologist/ local eye hospital if they notice any symptoms requiring investigations. It’s always worth having your eyes checked if you notice any changes to your vision, experience eye dryness or irritability.
I suggest considering an optician who is able to perform Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). (One near here offers it as a £15 extra when having an eye test - OCT appears not to be available on NHS.)
There has been some research into the effects of thyroid associated ophthalmopathy, Graves Eye Disease, whatever, on the retina. Probably just indicative rather than diagnostic, but might be helpful.
I agree. An OCT at my local opticians cost £15 and picked up I had an epiretinal membrane (in addition to the TED previously diagnosed). My optician then referred me to a retina specialist. Neither the retina or TED specialist ophthalmologists thought the conditions were linked however. It is interesting that research has pointed to links between TED and the retina. Thanks for posting them Helvella.
So eye test was fine other than dry eyes which she said would account for sensitivity to light and blurry vision etc. I have some HycoSan now, thanks for the recommendation.
Still feeling lousy though, tired, spaced out and dizzy.
Re other symptoms, I would focus on trying to get your key vitamins optimal. It may be worth you re- posting on the forum for vitamin advice, then others (more knowledgeable than I!) can respond.
