second time lucky ?
Can I hope for a totally different result? Has anyone gone from NOTHING first round and then had a decent result on the second round? As I approach my second nhs icsi cycle I’m anxious, nervous and hopeful that I will get a better result this time. We collected three eggs which were quite small

After following advice and wisdom from this fab group over the last couple of years I have now managed to feel much better with increased thyroxine and various supplements. One unexpected bonus has been my singing voice. I am in my 70s and have sung soprano in a large choral society for years but a year

Not a UTI
Thinking I had picked up a UTI (strange feeling in bladder area and frequent feeling of needing to urinate) I requested a urine test, which was done. The triage nurse at my surgery informed me that although it showed no infection there were in fact microscopic traces of blood in there, (which would be

Rt3 - clarification
Hey all, I've been doing a fair bit of reading and I see that the stance here is that rt3 is useless. Maybe this will help someone. A cell will have a receptor for T3 and RT3 can bind to it weakly (thanks Helvella, I have corrected it). When you take too much T4 or you don't convert well, your protective

T3 and arrhythmia
I've been on levo for 25 years. A few years ago I found I have mitral and tricuspid regurgitation ,sinus tachycardia, and some PACs. I asked an internist if I could take t3 and he said no. But I can't tolerate the fatigue anymore. Is it safe to take t3 when having arrhythmia?

Fighting for corrections is so hard.
I am coming up on the one year of my wife's passing. On this day last year, she was sitting in her hospital bed eating frozen fruit. She was at 99% Sat with 1l of O2, and the plan was to turn it off in the morning. LFT's bang on Normal. Indirect Billi is still high, direct normal. Albumin low Plat low

Followed advice here, now need help with understanding results
Hi, I’ve learned more here in the last year or so than I’ve ever learned from doctors. I’ve also come to know that I’ve probably been on too low of a Synthroid dosage for far too long. I am hypothyroid with Hashimoto’s since 2005 or 2006. I had a goiter on my parathyroid and had surgery to remove

After loading doses
Hello, I finished my loading doses about a month ago now and have been told to get injections every three months. Most symptoms have gone but some have appeared. I have pain in random places throughout the day. Mostly my joints (especially ankle) and in my chest which come and go. I went to the doctors

Started new thyroid medication Mon 😡
Sorry everyone but this is going to be a rant.... As many members will know I stopped taking my thyroid medication on January 31st because the incompetent endo put me back on teva, which I certainly don't get on with (gastric side effects amongst other side effects) Through my surgeon in Liverpool for
