Not great news but trying to remain hopeful
We had ultrasound scan and consultation this morning. My AMH is still low and the ovary on my right seems to be inactive. On the left I have 4 four follicles. Upset obviously but trying my best to remain calm and not freak out. My boyfriend has been great but apart from his motility needing a slight

Pushed back cervix?
So I’ve just come back from the doctors after having my coil strings checked. It took my doctor at least 5-15 minutes to find the strings which is probably normal I don’t know as this is my first time getting them checked🤷🏽♀️. But my doctor mentioned that I might have a pushed back cervix?? not 100%

Useless gyno appointment
Went for first gyno appointment yesterday and felt like they didn't listen to anything I said! He gave me a what I think is a pointless womb biopsy even though I've had recent smears that are clear and no in between bleeding. Said doesn't sound like endo and tried to foist a coil on me despite bad experience

Endometriosis and contraception
Hello, I was diagnosed with endometriosis a week ago and I’m currently trying to decide what form of contraception is best for me. I don’t want the injection as I don’t like that once it’s in for 3 months you don’t have any control. I was thinking of the copper coil because of it having no hormones

Mirena coil and cramps strong as contractions. Reason? Too little uterus
Hello everyone. I want to share with you my experience with mirena coil. I have endometriosis and i was asked on pre-operation consultation for laparoscopic surgery of enfometriosis, if i want mirena coil. It's good way how to stop bleeding so I shouldn't have any pain or problems for few years. I said

Confused about hormones
Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions about hormonal treatments for endometriosis. I recently got diagnosed and had surgery, I'm currently receiving drugs to put me in menopause and the doctor has recommended the mini-pill for after I finish this treatment. I've heard from some that progesteron

I'm going back to work soon and i'm unable to sit at my desk, what do i do?
So after taking a month off to recover as I was diagnosed with severe endo last month and as only being 18, they didn't want to remove anything they wanted to give the coil ago. I'm going to be returning to work in 2 weeks time, I've spoken to my line manager about needing a new workplace so I can stand

IUI Round 3
So I am not at IVF stage yet, today I had IUI number 3... after two unsuccessful rounds in Feb and March we took April off (and I had a HsG - all was fine!) Today the process was a lot more uncomfortable than before, and I am far more emotional. I cried on Friday when they told me it would be Monday

Contraception post lap
Hello everyone, So I had my first ever lap last Wednesday and was diagnosed with endometriosis. I am currently 5 days post lap and have my follow up app in the middle of June. Should I wait until then to discuss what contraception I should be taking? I have taken the mini pill before as I can’t take

Did laproscopy/mirena coil help your pain?
Hi all I’m about 8 weeks post diagnosis / first excision (laser) and had mirena coil fitted. Wondering if excision or the mirena has helped anyone else feel relief from pain? So far, it made my pain SO much worse following the surgery and only now has it calmed down to about the same level / frequency

2 coils in uterus
Dear all, because they found out today I have a bicournuate uterus they wanted to put 2 coils in after they remove my endometrioma. I dont want the coil so they are not doing that thankfully. Has anyone had 2 coils in at once due to the same reason?

Periods on an iud
Hi everyone, I had a Hormonal iud fitted a couple of months ago and I haven’t really had a period since then, until now. I have had occasional spotting since having it fitted but nothing I would identify as a period. I believe I’m having a period now but it’s concerning me a bit. It’s extremely painful

Inactive endo?!
Hi, I'm new to the group so please bear with me. I was diagnosed with Endo following heavy painful periods and multiple admissions for appendicitis which eventually 7 years ago ended with a laparoscopy and diagnosis of stage 3 Endo right side worse than left. I have managed with pain relief and the pill

Laporoscopy yesterday found severe endo after 13 years OK, so no fibroid removal or hysterectomy could be done for now. Devastated
Had first stage 4 endo removed 16 years ago. Had Marina fitted for 13 years and had no problems. Then I had 2 fibroids which caused major bleeding so coil removed and hormone treatments tried esmya, hormone injection every 3 months with hrt - still having these, provera and transamic acid not working
