So after taking a month off to recover as I was diagnosed with severe endo last month and as only being 18, they didn't want to remove anything they wanted to give the coil ago.

I'm going to be returning to work in 2 weeks time, I've spoken to my line manager about needing a new workplace so I can stand and have a back supporting chair. my manager wasn't so sure about a completely new workspace and she was trying to work around it as the company is trying to save money. This was recommended by my consultant to get a new workspace to help me recover within work.

my mum recommended me to a charity as she worked with someone with has endo and she contacted a charity, she got a completely new workspace which the charity paid for and when she left all the desk equipment went with her.

I wanted to find out if any of you did this and how I about claiming this as this saves me having a conversation with my manager which I don't think I'll win? as I've tried calling the helpline within hours but no one seems to be picking up.

*edit* after the 2 weeks recovery, I went back to work for a half a day as it was so hard to sit in my chair and I was rushed into hospital in the following evening.

Good Afternoon.

I'm sorry to hear that your workplace is reluctant to put measures in place to help you return to work. You may find this publication from our website useful endometriosis-uk.org/sites/....

I'm sorry to hear that you have been unable to get through to speak to someone on our Helpline. You may find it easier to speak to someone if you try ringing during one of our day time sessions, which may be a bit quieter.

Best wishes
