possible asthma after chest infection not treated
In feb I had a chest infection and sinusitis I had antibiotics for the sinusitis but not the chest infection anyway since then I’ve had this cough where I’m nearly sick I’ve pulled muscles the lot. It’s a non productive cough and sounds like I’m barking. I visited the doctor and they’ve prescribed a

Symbicort and sinusitis
My Symbicort has been raised to 200/6 from 100 but while this has improved my asthma I have terrible sinusitis and post nasal drip. I looked at the side effects and this is one. Wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

My Covid experience.
(I’m also allergic to
insect
stings
and radioactive iodine.) The next day I found I had lost most of my sense of taste and smell, but was it due the Paxlovid or the Covid? The daily fever bounce continued, I felt tired and developed a cough.

What do you think?
The questions were all very specific: are you allergic to
insect
bites/
stings
? Medications? Foods? Anyone in your family have autoimmune diseases? Does this happen/. Does that happen? What was in the cream? Blah, blah, blah........"it iOS not a straight allergy. This is autoimmune.

Sinus Surgery is it worth it?
I had Sinusitis end of August last year for the first time after a cold it made my asthma unbearable. The GP gave me the wrong antibiotic which didn't treat it and it became chronic. I know this as I went to see an ENT Consultant who gave me another antibiotic and I had a CT scan which showed pansinusitis

Sinusitis link to asthma
Hi, just wondering do many people on here suffer with periodic sinusitis also. I've been ill lately (got a negative PCR Covid result) with a lot of congested airways (initially nose, now feel mucus at back of throat), fatigue and very sore throat. Didn't visit my GP in the end as they wouldn't see me

Creams to prevent insect bites/stings
Hello, I have been on this site for a year or so, but this is my first post. I get really bad reactions to bites and stings. I have lupus and RA. I wondered if any of you have any recommendations of creams or sprays that I can use to prevent this. Also, something that would help limit the damage after

Sinusitis side effect with Atrovent and Spiriva
Hi, after a flare up of asthma I was given Atrovent in addition to my Fostair, prednisolone, antibiotics (I had a raised temperature) and anti histamine. After a few days I developed sinus symptoms (which I’ve had on and off for years). I feel awful whenever I get this, not intense pain, but a pressure

Extreme itching after insect bites / stings
Morning, all - I'm trying to work out which of my regular medical things may be ET related. I 've already found out that headaches and ringing in the ears can be, and now wondering about the extreme histamine reaction I get from midge bites and, apparently, other stings. I got stung by a bee on Sunday

Temporal Arteritis Or Sinusitis? CT scan and response to Pred.
Hi all, I’m new here. I am a 35 year old female and I’m struggling with something - not sure what move to make next and hoping someone can have some insight for me. On April 22, I got a headache. I have suffered random headaches since childhood, which evened out to monthly headaches around my cycle-

Sinusitis and COPD
Think I have Sinusitis as all the symptoms. I have severe COPD does anyone else suffer with this. Been told by my surgery to ask Pharmacist for medication. Any advice will be appreciated . Apparently it is common to suffer Sinusitis with COPD.

Dilating eye drops reaction
Was referred to the hospital and the nurse wanted to put the dilating eye drops in, I was a bit hesitant because I can react badly to things (sunlight, artificial light,
insect
stings
and bites and local anesthetic ) They really burned my eyes when she put them in and then I felt hot, faint, nauseous

New here, seeking advice or experiences with Sinusitis
Hi, not sure if this is even the right place to post, but I’m at my wits end. Basically a month ago I started to feel unwell, not feeling myself. It started with a strange sensation in my nose, couldn’t describe exactly how it felt at the time, as there was never any pain. Eventually decided it felt

Bronchitis sinusitis... comes with the territory?
Last year, before being diagnosed with W&W CLL, I got bronchial and sinus congestion that trailed on for a couple of months... This year, dealing with same, mostly sinusitis, but some bronchial mucous, etc. . Prior to CLL, I rarely had colds... now seemingly it will be chronic also. Surely others have

CLL and sinusitis
Hi 9 years ago I was diagnosed with CLL. I have since had FCR and feel great. Over the last 12 months, my platelet count has dropped and I have had 2 bouts of sinusitis. Does anyone else have experience of this? Anyone got any advice or do I keep battling on?!
