I'm on Ventolin and Trimbow, I don't seem to need my Ventolin so much and I have never had side effects. I put on a little weight but not much. Hope this helps you. Have a lovely weekend and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx 🌻🌻

Thankyou so much 💓

Trimbow 87/5/9mcq 120 doze inhaler, 2xpuffs 2xper day, the best thing since sliced bread in my book. Not noticed any side effects, I've always had to watch my weight and I still keep a Ventolin to hand but rarely use it. My rescue pack is dated 10/11/21 whereas I used to use 3 or 4 a year minimum. Obviously that doesn't mean it would work for everyone.

hi i have to agree with damon1864 i’m on same as him only earlier this week i started in trimbow and also find i haven’t used my ventolin all week as opposed to me using it 2/4 times a day so trimbow is deffo working for me …. not had chance to see if i gain weight as yet but i do get a very dry mouth during the night but hey ho i’d prefer that than struggling to breathe. good luck 👍

Hi, I've been on Trimbow for a couple of years now. I still take Ventolin if required but not so much as I used to. The most significant improvement I have seen is a reduction in the number of chest infections and exacerbations. I understand it may be different for other people, I can only speak of my own experiences. Good luck. John

Thanks John .I haven't had any chest infections in 5 years which is amazing ...

The nurse changed me from Spiriva respimat to spiolto as I figured I was taking too much ventolin but only on low barometric pressure days ...

My hubby has been put on Trimbow recently and he seems to be doing well so I'm thinking of asking for a change over to it for a trial 😊

My dad had recently been swapped to Trimbow from Fostair and it has made a HUGE amount of difference to his breathing! Before he was literally needing his vent about 10 times a day and you could constantly hear him wheeze and now he hardly touches his vent and breathing is much better!!!

That's amazing news and great for your dad I think a visit to the docs is going to be arranged for me ...I only suffer on stormy rainy days but its very frustrating thankyou for the info 😊

Just to add that Trimbow has certainly worked for me. I felt a lot better after I went onto it.

I can only agree with what's been said. I had Fostair and Genuair powder inhaler and Trimbow replaced the two of them. I did try to blame Trimbow for the weight gain but truthfully I know it's the crisps and biscuits plus severely limited activity.

Hi,I was moved from Spiolta to Trimbow. My breathing is better - I think - the weather is warmer - so not entirely sure - but I still need Salamol - more in the evening when I'm tired.

Would be interested in trying Ventolin, as I've heard it's better.

I haven't gained weight on Trimbow - if anything - I've lost more weight, which isn't great.

I've been on trimbow for about a year now and it has made a huge difference for me.

I have bronchiectasis and copd and it has stopped me coughing as much and my lungs being so irritated, helped my breathing and breathlessness and I have seen no side effects or weight gain.

I had been on seretide before that with little difference to my condition. I still take 2 puffs of ventolin 4 times daily as originally prescribed by the respiratory consultant.
